@TheBabyEinstein it reaaaally depends on the bird(s). these 2 just happened to be outcasts of the bunch & they got along great cuz they were both non-agressive types. parrotlets can be vicious & if they chose to be mad they can give a pretty harsh bite to the budgie.
@rosyfosy You don't have to clip any wings if you dont' want to. I clipped a few of the secondary feathers so it's easier to train. They are much more calm with a couple wings clipped anyhow.
@TheFirebird23 yes she's stopped (for now)! most likely due to the fact her toe got bitten & she can't balance on one foot for extracurricular activities anyway LOL.
Kiwi is so very beautiful! Beaker looks so very cute as always. It seems that they are becoming best friends. You set such a good example on taking care of birds.
Oh I love Kiwi!!! I am so partial to parakeets/budgies. He is such a pretty powder blue. That is wonderful that he is socializing now. Something happened to my auto-email for your uploads, and I think all of them, Katie Slider's too. So maybe they won't loose them again. How are the birds adjusting to the new apartment? How are you adjusting to it?
@chihuahuabulldog birds are adjusting now - took about 2 weeks. they reeeeeally love their playgyms & the trees outside by the window makes it more nature-istic for them. I think it calms them down. and mee too! I am still adjusting. I miss my high celiing fan :p

@PunkR4wk3r he's the first bird I ever handled. he's from a petstore 5yrs ago for my parents on christmas. I got him when he was 4mo old but he was not handraised so he is a bit different from the others. He's doing ok though :)

@jjtutes that is Beaker, he passed away Nov 5th this yr :( it was all the sudden but he had some issues already when he hatched. everyone loved him.
