What do u think could go good in the deck instead of the plant engine?

i would like to know what you think of zephyros in the deck and i dont understand how you play chaos sorcerer in the main deck with only 2 veiler wouldn't caius be a better option?

@theteamygo17 I dont especially like zephyros because I have enough targets to discard to the graveyard. However I would run him over plague because of I could use more non-tuners than tuners in the deck.

@TiiMTiiiM I am planning to change up the mainboard a little bit to make sure I am ready for nationals. When I figure out what I will do, I will probably make a video about it.

did you play againts any GK deck ???

@andresdavidtorresrey Yes I played one. He never tributed me. But I also repeat myself, that just because they tribute me does not mean I lose. Half the cards that they tribute are fine in my graveyard (fishborg, glow up, spore, treeborn, malicious, etc.) and I don't usually draw five monsters opening hand.

How did you compensate for the bad topdeck that Genex Undine and Genex Controller make in the late game? The deck sounds very strong on paper, but it feels like there are some inconsistencies whenever I look at your decklist.

@MonarchVV Firstly, late game is fine to draw these because you can discard them for fishborg blaster effect. Secondly, there are plenty of cards in every deck that are bad topdecks to draw late game (i.e. dojo/united/gateway in samurai, herald of orange light/dead kristya/decree in fairies) just to name a few examples. I'm sure that this doesn't stop you from running them...

Why did you decide to choose water synchro over frog monarch?

@Hawk899 I run this over monarchs because I hate having only one option (summoning monarch). If they warning I basically have nothing and have to rely on battle fader, trag or gorz. IN this deck, one warning usually does little to impede me.

Have you tested treacherous trap hole in the deck?

@Hernan55818 I have never liked the card because I always side traps so treacherous is another card I have to side in and out, and it's not worth the trouble for me. The deck is also completely packed already and I just can't find room for much.

@yugilo I agree that glad beasts is one of the harder matchups. My side deck mostly takes care of them. I run cyber dragons, thunder king rai-ohs for their monsters, and torrential tribute and malevolent catastrophes and smashing ground.

i've took a huge break from yu-gi-oh and im wondering whats new and whats the best deck and whats banned/ restricted

i might get back into yu-gi-oh if a few of my friends join in again. i'm just wondering it would be really helpful...mines old one is probly not legal but it was ment to get out a 3000+ guy out on turn 1 or 2...so please update me.

@chessofdeath Right now there are so many top deck choices. The best ones would be ones that use reborn tengu. The banned/restricted list in on the konami website.

Did you play gravekeepers at all? Seems like a tribute would be a +2/3 99% of the time..

I did play a gravekeeper round 8. Yes., royal tribute is the bane of my existence but during test playing, every game that I did not get royal tributed I won, and even a few times that I did, I still came back because it's ok if most of my monsters go to my graveyard (i.e. spore, glow up, fishborg, treeborn, etc.).

@3zinferno Why didn't you use more monarchs with the treeborn engine running? Caius feels like the best card in the game sometimes..!

@SaintMarco Again Monarchs are amazing cards, especially caius. Here are two reasons why I didn't run more Caius. 1. Getting trishula"ed" means no more live treeborn and therefore "dead" Caius. 2. Depending on monarchs is never good because getting veiler or warning"ed" means you really have not much room to protect yourself and set up for other better plays.
