@ReDDDgo our original founding fathers' intentions have been grossly twisted and a spin has been put on our capitalist society to make it look like the system itself is bad. the problem is not the system, it's the people running it.
Now i'm lvl 64, I now have 55 popularity things, 53 million coins, and I have did not ever cheat. If you should want to get the same exact guide i used, merely go browse through it for free at beatcafeworldXcom (replace X with . )
I believe that it's Ralph Nader who needs a wake up call. While I agree with him on some things, he discredits himself on a number of important things. For one, I've read "Unsafe at Any Speed" and while he makes some good points as far as advocating safety belts and safety cabin for cars, he discredits himself by blaming the car itself instead of the driver. Neither extreme is a good thing to do. With that in mind, I wouldn't vote for him if he were to run for President.
@tristramshandy3 On the contrary, I don't like what's happening to the Democrat party. Everything has become so big and Corporate that we seem to have lost sight of what makes this country great.
The Patriot Act gives the Government the power 2 tap Americans phones, break into their homes,Put you in Prison without a warrant or any charges,Monitor your movements,Medical Records,LABEL you a terrorist with no proof, just because you speak out against the system! Please, this is 2 important to just vote based on celebrity!heck out their voting records first!Don't do this to our country or your children!
Well, as we stand right now America is more of a Republic than a Democracy. But it's not supposed to be. Unconstitutional? The constitution gave the power to the people. And if Americans actually had power they could change this forsaken place. Vote third party!
Um There are 3rd party candidates that are on both sides politically. Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin are third party candidates this election and they are on the right.
That language in the above comment is not intelligent.
I cant agree more I wish Him and Ron Paul and even Dennis (how do you spell his name? lol) Kinichini?? I forget but anyway these three gentlement stand head and shoulders above the rest.
They arent given much air time thats why they arent heard, is deliberate and we pretty much know the media is a scam here. I LOVED youtubes "DAVID ICKE freedom to fascism" Hes so right on with it that video series is 29 vids long and CRAM PACKED with info, I stayed up all night watching it... amazing!
Many commenters are here by searching for 'corvair' on youtube. The swing axle, a suspension arrangement in all but the last Corvairs, is a source of oversteer and dangerous lift-off oversteer in some situations.
So the Volkswagen Bug, Renault Dalphine and the Porsche were unsafe too? Simply a case of Ralphy boy not doing his homework. The Corvair was an easy target being quite different than any American car every produced. Most people who make the stupid comments about the Corvair have never driven one and are going on heresay including Ralph himself. By the way, Ralph doesn't drive and doesn't even have a driver's license. So much for an expert.
those are all foreign made cars. the popularity of the american made corvair made it a target, nobody disputes that. my brother had a corvair, it was a fun car.
The problem is that the car companies knew about the problem and they kept it to themselves. They knew that the cars could kill people, but they didn't want to have a recall.
@hoomanity Ford's fuel tank design is a case of that. The Corvair wasn't. GM used a proven chassis layout that was common in European cars at the time. When they got complaints from customers who were used to American-style chassis layouts, they responded by redesigning the suspension system for the 2nd generation Corvair, which came out in late 1964. The original Corvair simply needed to be driven differently because it was different, much like how a truck can't be driven like a sports car.
From Virtual Vairs: "6. SAFETY Contrary to incorrect media accounts, the Corvair is the only vehicle ever proven safe by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. In its landmark July 1972 report, the NHTSA exonerated the 1960-63 Corvairs, as well as the 1964 and the 1965-1969 models. Slip behind the wheel of a Corvair and you'll quickly discover its road-holding capability—it's truly a driver's car."
Geez, after more than forty years and reams of documents proving Nader was/is an idiot, people still hang on to the belief that Corvairs are unsafe. I've owned three and own one today. Wish I could afford more.
And to all the Democrats out there - it was Nader that lost the election to Bush. And he's thinking of running again. His numbers in the last election were less than 1/3 of what that KKK whacko Duke got when he ran. What an unquenchable ego! Every crusade Ralphie has gone on has ended up costing EVERY ONE OF a lot of money. You have to make up your own mind if whatever he accomplished is worth our out of balance litigious society.
There's that old fascist Ralph. All machines have "design faults". Raplphs greatest victory was when he used the argument that GM INTENTIONALLY built dangerous vehicles. What illogical crap. Thank him next time you pay your own insurance bill that's higher than it should be because of spilled hot coffee from McDonalds etc.
I own a 62 Corvair 900 club coupe, great little car. No handling problems whatsoever, I'm inclined to let my daughter drive it when she turns 16 and will have no fears at all about letting her.
If someone was targeting your livelyhood with lies and publishing it.....wouldn't you????? Again, the chapter on Corvairs is total bunk which was proved by a congressional investigation. That in my mind makes the rest of the book suspect.
@hoomanity What Nader wrote about the Corvair was already corrected by the time his book came out. Also by that time, GM already had plans to kill the Corvair and replace it with the Camaro, which was brought out to compete with the Ford Mustang. The Ford Mustang had an obviously dangerous fuel tank design. You could learn to drive a Corvair but you were stuck with the Mustang's tank. Perhaps that lopsidedness made GM suspicious enough of Nader's motives to send detectives.
Having owned and driven Corvairs over the past 20 years I can tell you they are some of the safest, best handling 60 era autos. I do keep them strapped down with steel cables when their parked though. The things just keep wanting to defy gravity and flip themselves over!! LMAO !!
In other words, the Corvair chapter of Ralph Nader's book was bunk.
One more tidbit....Ralph Nader doesn't have a driver's license and never has had one. That is the honest truth. Do some research and check it out for yourself. Who is he to tell anyone what they can drive and what is safe to drive?
By the way, in 1973 the National Highway Transportation Board (NHTSB) cleared the Corvair in their safety report PB 211-015. I quote:"The 1960-63 Corvair compares favorably with contemporary vehicles used in the tests," and, "The handling and stability performance of the 1960-63 Corvair does not result in an abnormal potential for loss of control or rollover, and it is at least as good as the performance of some contemporary vehicles both foreign and domestic."
was more than likely a lapdog of the American Auto Industry companies in the 60s and early 70s. Serving their coporate rulers well to pay lipservice, wouldn't they?
It all comes down to personel responsibility, not conspiracy. Some people just can't drive and that's the simple truth, they just "operate" their vehicles. Some people need to be and feel protected from themselves.
Nader wrote the book "Unsafe At Any Speed", one chapter of 13 total was devoted to his claims against the Corvair. His lawsuit against GM was NOT about their cars or the Corvair, it was about invasion of privacy. GM hired private detectives to spy on him due to the book he wrote. He won the lawsuit.

I say the more they want to keep the nation safe, the more they dig their graves.
They call it foreign policy.
I call it ingerence, war crimes and genocide.
They call it the American Dream.
I say the world cannot longer stand this nightmare.

is the first line the only part you read of the Constitution?
It doesn't say Democracy anywhere. But it says republic 13 times. Guaranteeing each state the right to a republic.
Vote libertarian not 3rd party!

America has become a democratic republic, but it certainly isn't unconstitutional.
Direct democracy, however, is not very consistent with the constitution's structure and philosophy.
