Not all snowboarding is corporately funded and jock infested. I ride a signal which is a rider owned company that makes their own boards here in the US. & I also have a icon snowskate which I also enjoy very much... My point is that is a very close minded biased statement at the end that ruined the entire video for me. And if being off your bindings is so great why isn't there one trick that you couldn't do on a snowboard there?
@burtonxboarder it's true not every snowboarder and company is there to make money. But inst it all about fun and doing what you love? But what is very fun, is going back to the roots and have a new goal and challenges... that is snowskating. There is not any snowskater out there only for money, because there is no money for them. Every single snowskater is there because they love the sport, love riding and love to be foot free. Finally, let's hope one day snowskating will be accepted.
Why would you do this when you can snowboard? Theres an unlimited possibilitys on a snowboard. Try doing a 360 on and 270 off of a hand rail into a bank or try doing a backflip 360 on a "snowskate"
@polsternacka ya its definitely more bad ass when you fall and your board slides down the whole fuckin hill. Look at any snowboard vid and compare it to a "snow skate" vid
@mOnEyMaKeR6983 Honestly, for me, snowboarding gets boring. I live in Tahoe so I can go to the hill a lot. I grew up skateboarding so snowboarding always seemed a little less serious cuz it's so easy. It can be a lot of fun but it's not the most challenging sport, I mean anybody can figure it out in about a week, it's just really dangerous. All the ego that goes along snowboarding get old too. I'm actually excited about winters again and not being strapped in is why.
