How come every time i take videos using my D90, the videos appear to lag on my computer? The audio is fine but the video just seems laggy. What are the optimal settings?
Hey, pleaxe answer me a question. I am d40 and trying to sell my 1080i Samsung great video cacoder to get this one. Can you please tell me, does video has lag. I watched all videos from nikon site, and look like videos has a lag every 4-6 seconds. Is it true? Look like missing some frames during that lag. Please answer me, I need that info. I so like it so far, I hope there is no lag.
This technique only works effectively with a true zoom lens, which are rare. Most zoom lenses are not true zoom i.e., they don't retain focus throught the zoom range.

Very fuzzy video especially at full screen. Why would Nikon sell out and put something as silly as digital movie feature on a DSLR? I think I will be getting a Canon instead, they seem to be more serious about DLSR's in just taking good still photography.
This isn't a real impression of the D90s movie capability, obviously the quality is severly reduced via Youtube. I guess the aim of movies like this is to give people atleast a slight indication of what D-movie is like.
As far as the D90 goes, for middleweight DSLRs, you can go past it unless you're heavily invested in other manufacturer lenses etc

It must be your computer. Try downloading new codecs. I have no lag on any of my computers.

always zoom in first to the subject, focus then zoom out. motion picture cameras, including digital are all manual focus.
