I put ricotta, mozz, and mushrooms in mine. Here in CT I don't know why the restaurants put sauce on the inside.  I think it ruins it.

erm why u put cheese inside the calzone the cheese should be outside and stuff it with stuff like spicy ground beef ham mushrooms bacon owt like that then fold it then put red Leicester and mild chedder cheese on top and cook

@sheffguy29 Lol , theres a lot of ways to make a calzone , you may have cheese inside and some vegies and put salsa on the outer dough (TRUST ME, TASTES GREAT @.@) , its originally made with beef , but there has been so many mistakes and improvisations and they found cheese really taste well , or it was an idea , duno , just sayin @.@ , anyway all versions are awesome.
