Celes: Then we have the hot charater who wants to get with the the lead male but he has his head up his ass trying to find a way to bring back a dead girl he dosen't see what he has infront him.(Aeris/th, Tifa, Cloud Love triangle)
Shadow: a secertive guy who a mysterious past who might infact be the father of one of the characters in your party.
then there's Gau a normal looking kid who acts like an animal....if you reverse that character you get REDXIII aka Nanaki
You must admit though, the theme song for sephiroth is pretty epic. He's got the cool factor down, but he still can't be compared to the greatness that is Kefka.
lol, I knew that already m8 ^_- I was just stating the obvious. Kefka is a true villian of the final fantasy series. How about Jecht? Does he pass as a villian? don't know his story though. Was he being forced to take over the world? He kept his son alive because he wanted to be defeated by him. Very confusing indeed.
Jecht wasn't the true villian he was just included in the PSP game because he has a stronger connection to the Tidus then he dose Seymore(which if they picked him they would have picked Yuna instead) or Yu Yevon.
I see. Thanks for answering. Also remember that Sephy Boy is liked so much because the fan-girls can't seem to get enough of him. Not many people think about the "villian" base situation, just on how cool the character is. Quite sad really.
huh T_T I kinda feel obligated to defend FF7... but at the same time... you've got several damn good points... Especially the one about Cloud... seriously... he barely fits in the freakin plot line yet he was able to take down the number 1 villian who was literally all powerful with a fucken stab... a simple stab.... Anyway, I've got no way to support FF7, even though I like the game quite a bit. But I can say this, Aerith is one of my favorite FF female Characters. She's not exaggerated either.
She's a rip of Terra. I felt the same way you did about FF7 until I found out they just took alot of things from FF6 and repackaged them
Locke(the main male hero) is an everyman trying to bring back his girlfriend(cloud) who joins a rebellion(avalanche) bent on over throwing the dictatorship in charge(Shinra)
Terra the lead girl is a person with a mystical power tied to ancient times who is trying to defeat her former tormentors with the help of the rebels(Aeris/th)

I look at him objectively and beside looking pretty he's a lamer version of kefka
Both:
-Soldiers that were experimented on and went off the deep end
-Eliminated the government in one form or another(kefka literally did it)
-Set a whole town on fire
Kefka:
DESTORYED THE WORLD
Sephy:
Killed a flower girl and threatened to destroy the world but was stopped by an emo boy who wasn't even that powerful.
