  • Nom nom nom nom nom...

  • love how gentle are they, specially the lil'one that is sitting on your lap, anyways i don't think is the best for them to loose their fear to humans... sadly no too many people is "animal friendly" u know what i mean with this... by the way, is great to see u're one of the friendly ones!! :)

  • i think you should take this to the next level, and build a racoon friendly, and very fluffy couch. but don´t forget the flat screen tv and some drpepper. lol

  • better not run out of food

  • jeez where do u live in Racoon City.

  • @Atzil A Resident Evil fan. LOL :)

  • baby racoons! We had some in our yard, but the mom was nearby hissing at us

  • ahahhah when you've throw some for the others, the little guy gets a bit nervous! like, heeeeeeeee take this back here!!!

  • Thank you for being kind to the creatures :o)

  • Thanks for the video. I love raccoons. Wish more people did.

  • ah.. very cool. i have only gotten so far as hand feeding them...

  • omfg..what a cute...you're so lucky man

  • LUV it! We had a family of raccoons that used to come up and eat with us outside as well. MaMa used to sit on my lap and eat out of my hand as well.

  • i have a question what were you feeding them?

  • Why would u let them sit on ur lap they might have rabies

  • @atom608 Gee I didn't know that, thanks

  • @lamonsterv8

You can't get rabies from patting them, they would have to bite you to risk transmission.

  • @atom608 you get rabies from wild animals when you are bitten and their saliva enters your bloodstreams..petting for sure will not give you diseases.

  • @ThreeStepz They could deside to bite u

  • @atom608 I'm pretty sure if the raccoon is calmly sitting on your lap eating food it doesnt have rabies.....

  • @atom608 It would be far more obvious if it had rabies. This one showed no aggression and was clearly accepting of a human offering food. The most sure signs of rabies are foaming at the mouth and hostility to all animals alike. It isn't hard to miss. But it's always good to stay cautious.

  • They are so adorable. Love them

  • Funny how i went from cat videos to racoon videos?

  • Spontaneous boner time!

  • Awwww theyre soo cute! Are they wild though?

  • I love how loud he eats.

  • PRAY TO THE GODS YOU DONT RUN OUT OF FOOD!

  • A raccoon usually wont bite the hand that feeds,

  • @NatPradoTheory If a coon has rabies it would'nt be on your lap duh. they would be freeking out and sick

  • @lanceehansen LOL

  • @StarWarsLover9210 What about your ass? Does it itch?

  • @NatPradoTheory not all raccoons have rabies. not like they are born with them.

  • @OWHSsoccer07 Yea thats why i asked thanks

  • Loved the video. It reminded me of the babies that I fed regularly at my home. I miss their antics. One or two of them come around every once in a while to get a hand out and last year I'm sure one of my "babies" came back with her kits. Don't make them pets, but enjoy their company while it lasts.

  • loved the vid, just curious bout the title.....doesn't look like a baby racoon

  • Are these wild or pets?

  • @gh0stc0rvx

    nope, they are wild

  • aww lucky i love love love raccoons but i would be afraid of getting near one or feeding it because i read if they come over to your or sumthin it could be because they hav rabies!!!

  • Are these wild raccoons? If they are, I'm surprised that one is sitting in your lap and letting you pet it lol xD what a con artist!

  • @TheTidalforce

yep they are wild. These were the first coons that would do that.

  • Ive always wanted a domesticated one! theres raccoon that lives in my backyard somewhere which has two little babies. I've thought about catching one of them, but I'd feel too bad :(

  • ah damn lucky man aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa raccoonssssssssssssssssss <3

  • Really enjoyed the video. I used to live 1/2 block from a forest in Chicago and these little guys came up into the back porch stealing anything they could get their little hands on. Some nested in our garage. They do like cat food but not as much as bananas peanutbutter cookies, well, anything sweet. I had to move and miss them so much. Videos like yours warm my heart with sweet memories, thanks.

  • whoever gave this a thumbs down has NO SOUL. cutest vid ever.

  • Dude.....they're cute, but aren't you worried about getting bitten and getting rabies??

  • Just get a lot of food, and we mammals can pretty much get along with each other.

  • mine LOVE! Marshmellows its like beer 2 them

  • alright chopper!

  • WOW, Raccoons have no inhibitions

  • I like how he is just sitting on your leg chillin.

  • I'm glad so many of you like this video. This was the first time I got to touch them and I got my wife to video it. I feed them cat food, cat food is like Crack to a coon. This guys are long gone now but every year I feed new ones, right now I have 5 that I feed. At one time I had 13 coon at my place, that was a little much.

  • @lamonsterv8

You're lucky to still have your hand after touching them, particularly while they're eating!

  • awwww ^_^

    what're you feeding them?? =P

  • Wow, they climbed right up on you! That must have been really fun.

  • Anyone find it adorable that they eat with their hands :]

  • omggggg <3 i want one

  • the babys like NOM NOM NOM NOM lol so cute :3!!!!

  • what state is this???

  • omg so adorable! i have a REALLY cute video of us feeding these abandoned baby raccoons we found by the side of the road.... go check it out :D

  • Just look at all those raccoons!

  • What sniffy fwens

  • ahhh good to see

  • cute

good way to get ticks though

  • An now for some Baylisascaris procyonis and habituating to humans.

  • It sure does a person good when you know you are helping another living thing that depends on you. It is too cool what you guys are doing to help these little guys. If more people would do this, I think it would help cut down on the foraging that goes on causing animals to get killed on the roads. If we build up the planet into a huge asphault jungle, we might as well do like the indians and learn to cohabitate with nature. Thanks for sharing your video.

  • raccoons are so cute

  • No sure about touching them with your bare hands but what your doing is adorable!I wish i knew some I could feed like that.

  • @chelseacolwell crazy

  • They are so cute! How did you coax them all there? I'm sure they are not your pets. Or are they? LOL!!

  • omg how smart picking it out of the cup, that's awesome.

  • so cute. shame we dont have em here. cant bring them in either

  • arent they supposed to be rabid if out in the daytime cause it looks like bs for the billion videos ive seen on you tube

  • no, that's rubbish. The vast majority of coons do not have rabies. I have one that I feed (he has his own food and water bowls too) and he will sometimes come out during the day for a snack. Gets along great with the cats too!

  • I love raccoons... There so cute. I think, we should share a little of our food, because they cant make bbq.

  • Thats why Raccoons are my favorites!

  • I love the way that little one just hopped into your lap to eat his/her snack.

  • those little hands are sooooo cute!

  • It's nice to see somebody who cares about animals. People say you shouldn't feed wildlife, but how else are they going to get their food with humans destroying their forests and homes?

  • i get your point, i mean feeding them at your home is ok. but feeding them in a oublic place is not. because they become pests and then eventually they will get aggresive and start to bite people because they're not getting there food. but in australia feeding a racoon in the states is liek feeding a magpie on our balcony.

  • ...or a possum in the back yard (which is what I do mosr nights).

  • nice, do they bite much? the possoms in our backyard hiss and growl at our dog.

  • I haven't been bitten yet, but then I don't hold my hands too close to their mouths, either. They're a bit wary of the cats, although I don't think our cats would ever hurt them I usually put their fruit down on a surface, like the feeding platform I put in one of the trees, or on a thick branch.

They come when I make a certain sound, and they seem to feel more secure, if I stand close to them while they eat. One of the little females has a baby in her pouch.

  • uhh ok yeh, at my old house ive been threatned by a possom with a mother having its baby in its pouch. but atleast they keep you accumpinied (how ever you spell)

  • That's so cute about the baby. You should get pictures of them if they are still coming around and show us! :)

  • hi tall32guy!

I'd film them if I had a decent camera.

The family dynamics with the possums change quite quickly and frequently, as the tiny tots grow up so fast.

It's summer here now, and there tends to be more yummies for the possums to eat, and they help themselves to fruit trees that are around the suburb where I live. : )

  • I agree with you so much. It shouldn't make any difference if you are human or animals.

  • Really? So if a raccoon needs a home it's okay to turn you out into the weeds?

  • aaaaaaaaaaw so cute :)

  • Aw! Very adorable!! <3

  • What a heart-warming video. Absolutely beautiful. I have always loved racoons, they are the sweetest little guys.

So nice to see people enjoying the company of animals. LOVE it!

    Thanks for the video.

  • Thanks for sharing - this sure made my day a whole lot better

  • awesome!

  • I shall get a baby coon to go with my baby ferret and they shall be masters at steeling shiney things.

  • I've stated this before on some posts, but I have been having serious problems with my faith. However, when I see an adorable baby like this, not to mention the kind hearted human being feeding it, I am convinced there is some kind of intelligent design out there. Just plain happenstance could not create anything as cute as this! The animal is cute and the man should be commended, and I think God has a hand in it all........

  • So how do you feel when you see something ugly like a cockroach?

  • To jestes pojebany!

  • Oh yea? So are assholes in the sights of my SKS!

  • There's nothing more heart-warming than a peaceful scene of humans interacting with raccoons.

  • from all the animal in the wildlife raccoons r my favorite of them all!!!

i alway dream to have one as a pet and name it Ozwald xD be my lil bandit :P

  • that is so cute!

  • Please be careful! I work at a wildlife rehabilitation facility and RACCOONS CAN CARRY RABIES! Unless you are vaccinated against rabies it is not a good idea to handle raccoons...keep on enjoying wildlife-and stay safe :)!

  • So cute!!! Bless you for feeding them!!!

  • so cuuuute! =D

I love Raccoons lots. they're so curious and persistent. they can be dastardly little rascals, but it's impossible to stay mad at them ^_^

  • I agree , some just tore up my whole kitchen. Opened my cats bag of food and made a mess. But its super hard to be mad at them.

  • I have been so tempted to try that as we have so many around our neighbourhood. They are a bunch of crazy teenagers right now and can be rather destructive, but I still love them. Was Mom around when you were feeding? - I'm always worried about an angry mother.

  • @ DianeDi

Raccoon moms will defend their cubs to the death. However: these youngsters look like they're 'teenagers' (at least 4 months old) . And if 'mom' allows you to feed them: no need to worry. If 'mom' not amused, she will warn you by hissing before doing you any harm.

If you want to treat a raccoon: they love banana's and sweet grapes (purchased at discount because 'overripe').

  • I do leave very ripe bananas for them and we have a grape vine which I've found a couple evjoying an late night snack. We never see them during daylight up here for whatever reason so the chance of hand feeding is pretty slim.

  • dam!...try doing that to a fl raccoon near my neighborhood...ital do that...then attack u when its done..

  • Wonderful! So cute I can barely stand it. I feed them, but they don't get on my lap...yet.

  • it's like he's your son, sitting on your knee!

  • so the coons in your area are not rabid?

and very cute video ! so nice of you to take care of them ^^

    adorable

  • i have raccoons in my yard too, they ate my fish : (

  • lulz

  • honeybaer, have you held him and cuddled with him a lot?

  • Last night THANKSGIVING I was in the city of Inglewood Ca outside with my girlfriend And i saw a coon that was like real big bigger than any raccoons i can find on youtube... it was a monster and it was like a bear cub no joke

  • They don't growl at you while your feeding/petting them? My PET raccoon will growl and occasionally snap at me and we've had him since he was teeny-tiny! He did just yesterday when he found some acorns in the backyard while we were playing.
