  • @shootthattiger you r so right m8 eruption and mamfred mann remind me of being on holiday in 78 i was 15 and the dj in the undr 18s played them evry nite. i like quite a few of 2days artists, but like yourslf 70s an 80s you cudnt beat.

  • Danced to this in the '70's on my own, with other people, didn't care

  • @pixielis1 Yep, I remember dancing on some packed dance floors to this and it didn't matter if you were dancing alone because nobody would notice. This song was like Knock on Wood ....it got everyone up.

  • I can' t stand the five people that dislike this song.

  • j adore les tenues de l époque disco ! superbe voix de la belle precious !

  • de souvenirs souvenirs !!!!!

  • If only those motionless drones in the audience knew how bad music would get in the 80's, I think they would have appreciated this performance more.

  • Bringing back sweet memories

  • damnnnnnnnnnnn! sex on legs.

  • This song makes me long for my 1978 sea mist green Sedan deVille those were the days.

  • @4444whatever4444

Way to go, I was in a 1978 CJ7 Jeep, but still can hear it on the radio! Oh back in the day!

  • JUST GREAT

  • my god, isn't she gorgeous, and with all the curves in exactly the right places

  • úžasný hlas a výborná melódia,Toto bol veľký hit 70-tich rokov,, Paráda. Brawooo

  • ONE OF THE BEST SONGS NOBODYS EVER HEARD OF! Yeah, I wanted to shout that.

  • @ejhahn19 Oh Yes I have heard of it but I agree it deserves more attention

  • Disco was so much fun.

  • @Thadesgal

I too just found this,I'd totally forgotten what a peach voice she had

Aahh, platforms and oxford bags, good times!

  • A good Loyang song

  • Her outfit is great except for those silly wings.

  • what a great voice!

  • I like the way she smacks the guy in the face with her wing at about 1:37

  • I love those Seventies Bugaloo costumes!

  • This song was on one of the first albums I owned as a boy; i always wondered what the singer looked like. Well, now I know and she has knocked me right between the eyeballs!

  • Damn! I forgot all about this......Just found it here....... Some great music.....Ah, The Disco of my youth.......

  • I like this song a lot. I'm not a BIG disco fan but some are classic and will forever last the test of time.

  • And what about Donna Summer? IIII feeel looove... a white album if I remember... I was so young... amourous, glamourous...

  • AND 'Out Of The Blue' album by ELO ; i'll shut up now !

  • Oh,and how could i forget BLONDIE with Plastic Letters and Parallel Lines albums, the debut album by The Police, and the amazing Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty ; one of the best ever singles !

  • There was The Rezillos with 'Top Of The Pops', Jilted John, With a Little Luck by WINGS, Northern Lights by Renaissance ; some great ones from Sheila B. Devotion, Eruption and Hot Chocolate and a brilliant debut album by The Tom Robinson Band. The must have album was The Sex Pistols ; Boney M were everywhere,as was Grease. There was The World Cup football, Revolver t.v. show, under age beer drinking down the pub for me along with crushes on a new girl at school every five minutes !! , Lol

  • Precious Wilson could SING!!! Where are the voices of today? Bring this music back somebody please!

  • The sound is not that great.

  • @OttawaSweetie Are you SERIOUS?

  • Whatta great song. This woman is just lovely and luscious. Beyonce and that skanky Guh-Guh ain't got nothin' on this chick!

  • @goldfinger1970 those boring frigid ze Germans! LOL!

  • @RockbertoRocks lol : )D

  • i was 3 in those days but i whish i was old enough in those days lol.

  • Killer Voice......after this classic song and "One Way Ticket" , i never heard of her again........

  • Graham Central Station's version is excellent. Disco did some songs justice, but a lot of remakes in disco form was wack.

  • I would swap how i felt in 1978 for now anyday

  • @kenfig Iwas never happier than I was in 1978

  • @TheMightyHope I was 15 for most of the year and loved so much music ; i was a fan of Punk though didnt subscribe to the fashion ! , i loved ABBA as well and lots of the disco records. It was a great year for singles including a no.1 for the Bee Gees with Night Fever, some great singles by the Boomtown Rats, three classics from Elvis Costello and great no.1s from 10CC and the Commodores. The year brought us Kate Bush and there were some great songs from Justin Hayward, Siouxsie, & The Stranglers

  • In my opinion, the best version among many

  • cool he, al die ouwe hits......

  • One of the best renditions of the song I've ever heard........not that I don't appreciate Tinia T & Ann Peebles, but this one has the most energy.

  • BRILLIANT record

  • ........strange, now I like the rain...the straight answer helps me waiting in the front line........

  • Just a classic

  • Based on the date the singer's Precious Wilson, no? Outstanding voice and stage presence.

  • YES!!!! MEMORIES!!!!!

  • autant precious etait belle que remarquable par sa voix puissante!

  • I was involved with a local radio contest where the roving DJ gave clues as to where he was located. If you could find him you would win an album. Well, I found him and won an album by Eruption which featured "I Can't Stand The Rain." I had never heard of the group with all the other disco hogs of that era in the lime light. But when I got home and put that platter on my turntable, they sounded so good! I still have that album in my collection. Great group, great music.

  • now this is music.. lets all start a disco revolution.. how sweet it use to be.. simple the best..

  • Genius

  • un groupe créé par Frank Farian pour faire concurrence à son groupe fétiche Boney M

  • Cooool!!!

  • Thanks for the video. Precious Wilson -soooooo verrrrry hotttt...now I can't stand the heat!!!

Takes me back to my hometown South Africa.

  • Woww!!! I'm a bboy, who loves all music. Missy Elliot, must have paid Eruption a handsome penny to sample their song. I mean wow! I love rap until I die, but tricking the youth who weren't old enough to hear the originals, isn't cool.

  • is it their song? i don't know, cause i;ve heard tina turner's version too and ann peebles. i'm all confused now! but it's great. love this song

  • @MisterBolder Actually, it's written by Lowell George of Little Feat. It appears on his album 'Thanks, I'll Eat It Here'.

  • Good old Memories.....

  • Great song from my early childhood. I was barely 4 at that time, but heard it on the radio in later years. Disco was really great, a lot better than much of today's music.

  • Fantastic! Love the song!

  • Eruption,Boney M and ABBA,.....WHERE are the groups of this standard nowadays??

All three groups ALWAYS put a smile on everyones faces when their tracks are played,...(and I hope this does'nt attract"gay" comments because all 3 groups were as camp as a row of pink chiffoned tents at a Christmas ball occupied by oompah lumpars snorting poppers whilst waiting for Judy Garland to click her heels and cut the Red Ribbon with her blunt childproof scissors to declare the ball open) Have a great day.

  • Hi there! Me too, I'm an ole-skool aficionado when it comes to good music.

The "C" in rap is silent, by the way.

1975 was an awesome year for music.
