Greetings from Chicago, USA! What an amazing road this would be to drive on (would be a lot of fun in my Bugeyed Subaru...check my channel for the video) and to enjoy the view. I read about it recently in a Motor Trend article. They crossed it in a V10 Audi R8.
The music is called "Wonderland Revisited" It was supposed to have lyrics, but Arnt needed the piece for a film, so I made it an instrumental. Havn't done anything with it since.
Between Bergen and Stavanger you can find the second largest population in Norway and we dont have a road like this, we have to use ferries to travel by the coast to get to Bergen the second largest city. People have asked about a coastal road for over 30 years. Ålesund is a tiny city but they still have a coastal road that links them with Trondheim and the rest of Norway. Bergen has an east west tunnel but not a ferry free coastal road despite being the 2 largest city in Norway.
@Lilfiloves Hi, and thanks. This music was composed by Knut Myhrvold for a filmproject I had, and is not on download/DVD. Try to contact Knut on Facebook. He is a really nice guy.
@LudvikM94 We got something called "tæla". When da tæla got "utløsning" it make da road bumpy. (Just like da stomach of bumpybears). Imagine lots of bumpybears after each other and you got "bumpy" roads. Sweden dont have bumpybears.
i drive that road 2 times a day, 3 days a week. its one hell of a road to drive on, i love it =) but i get really frustrated when i see tourists driving in like 40km/h through the whole road. its so freaking annoying.
and what is the best time to come and see it? is it July when the Jazz festival takes place or is it fall (when exactly) when you have all those storms and stuff?

I don't know why, our roads are so bumpy take for example Sweden they got much better roads than Us.
We should learn more about how to take service and how to build better roads, from other countries in europe

@LudvikM94 The only country in Europe that have worse roads then in Norway is Albania the poorest country in Europe.

Robinho: the only problem in Norway is the 80 km/h speed limit- the roads are great - as you will find out whenever you get there.
legendbonnie 2 years ago 2
80?! Surely you're joking.
zibbaen 2 years ago
Dead serious. I've been passed by only ONE motorbike on my holiday to N'way. I rode an indicated 90 km/h, real speed some 83,84...
People do follow the rules up there- traffic fines are REALLY high! :-/
