Lots of faults with this video. I can explain at least half of these, and I'm not a Bible scholar. I hope whoever made this very foolish video has actually attempted some research and approached Bible scholars. I'm 100% sure that from what I've learned, everything can be understood logically and historically. If we really love Him we will obey His commandments (John 14:15). So, with an honest heart, we try to follow His commandments, but we all fall short (Romans 3:23). But thankfully God Knows our heart (Matthew 15:8, Psalm 94:11).

This is just silly. You really ought to read a little more before you call something a contradiction. These genealogies are two different lines, descending from two different sons of king David, one leading to his step-father Joseph, and the other leading to his maternal grandfather Eli (Mary's connection), but both leading to Jesus, one by blood and the other by adoption. If anything, it proves His connection to King David two ways, a double-confirmation if you will.

I have been a christian for all of my life 23 years, but recently i have been searching for the truth on own instead of what i was brought up in. One of the most important facts being that the bible is the word of God. With God being perfect, why would there every be a instance of contradictions in what God left for Christians to govern themselves by? Its possible that either Heli or Jacob married a woman and didn't have a child with that woman. Under certain laws back then either could marry the widow. So When Heli died and had no kids, Jacob was allowed to marry his wife and bare a kid and it would be considered Heli. But Biologically it would be Jacobs. But thats not a certain answer...

Lots of faults with this video. I can explain at least half of these, and I'm not a Bible scholar. I hope whoever made this very foolish video has actually attempted some research and approached Bible scholars. I'm 100% sure that from what I've learned, everything can be understood logically and historically. Remember, you don't only need the context of the quotes, you also need to understand the use (and translation) of the language. It's about the message, not the details.

When Jesus said, "My God, Why have you forsaken me", He summed up the entire Bible in one sentence (or question). His sacrifice is what the whole Bible is all about- Why, indeed!

These genealogies are two different lines, descending from two different sons of king David, one leading to his step-father Joseph, and the other leading to his maternal grandfather Eli (Mary's connection), but both leading to Jesus, one by blood and the other by adoption. If anything, it proves His connection to King David two ways, a double-confirmation if you will.

Maybe instead of reading the Bible to prove God wrong, you should read it just to know him. I can't give you a correct answer as far as Joseph's dad goes. Its possible that either Heli or Jacob married a woman and didn't have a child with that woman. Under certain laws back then either could marry the widow. So When Heli died and had no kids, Jacob was allowed to marry his wife and bare a kid and it would be considered Heli. But Biologically it would be Jacobs. But thats not a certain answer...

Righteous: saying that a righteous man flourishes does not mean that he never dies, as the two juxtaposed verses implies. Righteous men still die. Isa57:1 is bemoaning a time when righteous men and die, and men are not moved to sadness by it. Jesus' last words: Matthew27 doesn't say they are the last words to leave his mouth. It clearly says he cries something ELSE afterwards. Luke 23 and John 19 are not necessarily in conflict. Both men heard these statements, obviously at different times.

I didn't see any true contradictions in this video. Jacob/Heli: Jacob is Joseph's father, Heli is his father-in-law. Jesus/God: Jesus is God's Son, they are one, they are both God, but share different roles. The Son does the Father's bidding, and is therefore 'less' than the Father, not in value or nature, but in role. Wisdom: Solomon was endowed with much wisdom and saw much profit in it, but he himself was depressed at the end of his life because he himself did not heed his own advice.

There s no evidence available to the five senses that gods exist therefor no reason to believe that they do. Religion divides people into tribes and pits them against each other. the world would be a safer place it there were no religion in it.

I am a christian. If you see the faults of the Church and of man welcome to the club. If you see contradictions in the bible well done for studying it, but if all you do is show faults and don't supply something else than are you better than the sunday christian? I am a great believer in the saying 'show me something better and I will follow it' but I have found nothing better than the love Jesu teaches or shows. It's not about the bible. It's about love. The wider church has forgotten that.
