You basically don't need to jump or do tricky moves, you don't get ignited, you have a pretty decent health and to be called a "Pro Pyro" you just need to go behind enemies, igniting 5 enemies and pressing M2 everytime a Soldier shoots a rocket on you...

4 easy steps to play as a Pyro:

1. Press W

2. Go towards the opposite team's base

3. Hold M1 and wait until someone kill you

4. Respawn. Repeat process.

The truly good ones know all about ambush points, use flare jumps, understand the meta-game significantly enough to know how to properly spy-check, know about who they can properly support, and can counter a good amount of items.

For example, a Pyro can push away stickies. Predict where a Demoman may place a field of stickies, and you could foil an ambush that can save your team. Use fire on a Sniper's huntsman and they can ignite nearly any enemy.

While I do enjoy playing the engineer, the only "skill" he needs is to swing a wrench. of course, I shouldnt be feeding a troll, but I guess I just can't aviod that...

@dimentiosbigfan To be an Engineer, you need to know where to place your sentries, teleporters, dispensers... else it will be lost time. Try a combat engineer then (w/ mini-sentry), see which one takes more skill.

@igor1903 You play a engineer on a map you play a lot, you found the perfect place to place your buildings a long time ago, should this be taken into the question, you can remove forget about that problem, which just leads on to what I said in my last comment. The pyro is very effective in buildings due to the corners to ambush enemies and being able to predict where they will come from, but if your in a wide open area where enemies can see you from miles away, you will get your ass kicked.

Meaning our primary targets were meant to be the ones with 125-150 health A.E.- Sniper, Engineer, Enemy Spies, And medic or scout if you can catch up to them. Unless the stronger enemies held still, THAN we can use the knife as intended. These are things you think of playing spy. Unlike "FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!" Pyro.
