I currently playing on a fender squire but now im pritty good so im looking for a proper guitar now. I really like the Fender Telecaster 2009 black model, but I want quite a hard, punky sound. Will the tele 2009 model be good for it?
The heavy relic models make me wanna puke. It fits perfect in today's shallow music industry, full of posers and wanna-be's. I have a 1984 Guild F45-CE acoustic that I bought new and played the frack out of. It has serious wear and tear, but all from my own playing. C'mon peoples ~ get back to what matters - the music.
killing groove... and rocked looking guitar played by the right man...
A little tip of mine... open it in two frames, let them run simultaneously, one slightly behind and you get a great spacey room-delay... makes the whole thing sounding really powerful and big... Cheers. PIT... :-)
The one difference I can tell between a high-dollar custom shop and a mexican like I've got is that the high-dollar ones have no buzz of the strings on other frets.
You can fix that on your Mexican tele with a decent setup: Big strings (Greg likes 11-49) and high action will help the buzz and your tone! Get the neck as straight as possible with maybe a tiny bit of relief. If everything fails, have your frets levelled!
hey Greg, you still have that guitar? cant find it on your site...
