  • His voice comes and goes. Sometimes his pitch is decent, other times he has to talk-sing. Sometimes he musters a bit of range when he belts it out, but he can't sing sotto voce the way he used to on "You Must Believe in Spring." Sometimes he croons, sometimes he croaks.

But you know what? He's a singer. He has to sing. This is who he is. He'd die if he couldn't sing, and he's earned the right to sing as long as he wants. So I say God bless him with all his inconsistencies and diminished ability.

  • @dobgood I couldn´t say it better!! In addition, who else in his eighties still is that good?! Very few people, maybe Andy Williams ...

  • OMG !!! I'm a big fan but that was the worst version I've ever heard him sing. He totally flossed over the parts where his voice should be strong. I have tickets to see him in Cork but not sure now. My brother said everyone in San Fran recently were complaining cause his voice is gone

  • Yes, wonderful, pefect, incredible - WHAT A SINGER!

Thank you so much for that video, it´s such a pleasure for me just to see this guy.

He´s still the best in the business...!
