@W1LDWESLEY they make alot of stuff for the 4.3 v6. you could do headers and a cold air intake. im not sure if they make a programmer for the 4.3 but they proably do. if you do sum research you would be suprised at all the stuff they have for the 4.3

If you havn't done anything to the engine itself internally I don't think you can "whoop" this RST. Those cold air intakes do not give you that much power either and I know that you said you had it tuned in your video.

the rst has a 5 speed which is an advantage with a good driver. I'd say this RST still has a little more power than your truck.

back in 04 you could get 295/300hp on a chevy/gmc 1500 and it was from the factory as an option to the 5.3L. It was not a performance truck. Now you can get 350hp+ with any other make but FORD on a truck and its not a "PERFORMANCE" truck. Ford is behind on its standard trucks. It took ford 5 years just to get 300hp on its standard trucks.

but it still out pulls and can out haul any other truck. and yes it is not a performance truck, it is a work truck, thats why ford is still doing the best out of the big three, because trucks will always be needed to do work, and when the economy is down like right now people realize that they dont need performance trucks, which is why gm is going under, same as dodge.

Example, get a used 2004 silverado for cheap and put a turbo on it + upgraded tranny and possibly new rear end.

A MILD LS1 Naturally Aspirated engine in a vehicle with similar weight, will keep up with or own a stock lightning with a super charger. So your theory is flawed..

My 2005 1500 has 195 hp. how the hell is it not a truck. . Just shows the times we live in when the cab is bigger then the box. And for the whole lightning thing gust look up gmc cyclone. It had only 250 horses.

you dummy, there is no supercharger on that motor. you can clearly see where a K&N intake goes straight to the throttle body. Of course its not stock, most likely a cam and maybe performance parts. but definitely no supercharger. and there are no specs on how many horses this puppy is puttin out. nice 360's though

The rims are 20" Foose rims. They only come available for this truck though. They are the "Speedtster" edition for this truck, but you can order them, only not the exact same ones. You can still order the Speedster wheels though, only a minor difference in them. They are expensive though.

yea, and I think thats probably their 4.8L. They do 5.3L's and automatic transmissions, but you have to special order those and it was estimated that it costs around an extra 2k. They do extended cabs too (drool...)
