  • you sead that the 6000k is a yer old

its a knowen face that hids dim slowly over time and eventually dont stay lit

i have 4300k hids in my car (they came stock) they produce better light then 6000k

ther great with projectors (im assuming your car has them by the looks of it)

  • sunlight is 5420K

  • @RandyMedion 5730K...:)

  • @RandyMedion Yes indeed,...but later in the afternoon it goes up to 6000K

With overcast you have around 7/8000K.

  • the beam pattern is horrible. good video though

  • @bradrsavidge That how many manufacturers make there beams. Not everyone makes it straight across.

  • is it 35w ? or 55w ?

  • 35w (both of them)

  • 6000k+ are flat light.. that is when you can`t see bumps and stuff on snow... you need to put your yellow glasses on then.. LOL!! I ride snowmobiles.. I know this shit... flat light are dangerus to drive in with out yellow googles..

  • 6000 going to blue reflection...4300 to yellow...i think 5000k is the way! ;)

  • yellow is good.. cut fog, snow, rain better..

  • So the left one is 4300k and right one is 6000k?

    Wicht is what?

  • lower the k, more visual and penatration, higher the k, less light and more color

  • Hi,

  • I need to ditch my 6000k's. From what your 4300k light does im missing out on some good light output.

  • 4300 is the light that resembles sunlight the closest. anything higher, youre pretty much getting suckered into higher numbers and different colors.

  • @johnlovesmoney 5000 also

  • Did you use projectors for your HID?

  • Yes, the Alfa 146 has projector type headlights for the normal lowbeam/driving lights.
