One comment: "Empowerments from holy beings" is NOT Buddhist practice. Buddhism declares that empowerment is already inside every human being; it never comes from outside. This makes true Buddhism very amenable to Abraham's teachings.

@wildersara I've been a Buddhist for going on 12 years. Yet I'm not making an argument for "my definition" of Buddhism against someone else's. I'm saying that Buddhism is, by its OWN definition, the practice of realizing the potential for enlightenment that exists within oneself.

@Vittoria10538 the point is as soon as you say NOT its resistance especially in caps, are indications of a resistance inside you, Abraham says that everything is inside ourselves, there is nothing in our reality that is outside. So to have interaction with a being or in this case, over 100 beings, does not mean you don't have the ability to become enlightened without the interaction.
