what if i wanna unroot my EK02 galaxy epic touch? i cant use those EC05 files right? i tried rooting my epic touch via zedomax's way and i ended up having a rooted device with no wifi. and im pissed. after that, i tried rooting it again to see if i could get the wifi back (lol i kinda panicked), and still nothing. now i wanna unroot it, and root it back again with your strategy. im so new at this shit, so bare with me.

Hey qbking, will this method work for the new MTD-based ROM's, or is using ODIN with the PIT file and the "re-partition" option the only way to get back to stock RFS?

Thanks a ton qbking77 ! For those who got the purple colored clockwork showup after running the second .zip file(epic4g.stock.recovery....­, you just have to use the home key to choose reboot, as the enter key and camera button don't seem to choose options on the "new" purple colored clockwork mod menu.

@qbking77...thanks for you last (quick )response. i am (as per your suggestion) trying to get my epic back to stock...i am at stock rom and Clockworkmod 2.5.xx so my question is ...should i bypass the RFS filesystem step since i am already on 2.5 and just install EC05 stock recovery to get me back to stock????
