  • Ron Paul, genius and honesty in action.

  • He is so right.

  • Let adults choose for themselves how to spend their money? That's just fucking insane! How can this crazy old bastard even suggest cutting Nancy Pelosi and Obama out of such important decisions? Americans are stupid people, and they need wise leaders like Nancy Pelosi telling them how and where to spend their money.

    Ron Paul is CRAZY!

  • The government certainly should not be involved in online gambling. It is a personal freedom to spend money the way that they wish to do so. It is very unfortunate when a child takes their parent's credit card and deposits funds into an online gambling website, however that is the responsibility of the parents not the government.

  • What is this Ron Paul is voting Yes on?

  • Support our rights, thank you Mr. Frank and Mr. Paul lets push the bill fast before it dies. The time is now... yes... now is the time for all good people to come to aid of their god given rights. Support House Bill 5843 now.

  • I hope that Paul is just ahead of his time...

  • It shouldn't be secular or religious but rather freedom of choice to follow our own conscience and accept the consequences for whatever happens after. Take responsibility for your own lives.... Freedom.

  • when are they going to start debating on this bill?

i am glad it's been introduced but is it going to go anywhere? = (

  • I agree. In general the government shouldn't be regulating things besides what paul said.

  • Go RON PAUL!!! I'm still voting for RON PAUL as president! I'm just going to do a write in on my ballot!

  • Heh ya same here!

  • where is everybody!? I see lots of empty seats...

  • Its the govt.. fatcats dont show up, true patriots do.

  • why have we elected so few people like Ron Paul to congress? Is our government hijacked?

If this is not what the people want, then my god, we are fucked.

  • America is two parties now.

    Socialist democrats.

    Bible republicans.

Ron Paul is the patriot party which gets little support.

All that matters is gay marriage rights, making fun of the other candidates and abortions to most Americans.

The one who feels most free is the one who is most slaved.

  • Yeah, its sad. He gets almost no coverage.

  • It is sad, and the reason why they (the mainstream media) wont give Ron Paul coverage is because they are too afraid to talk about someone who doesn't sleep with the government like the media does.

  • hotty bottom right

  • regulation of the internet would be media death.

  • No, ...it would be internet death.

  • well the internet is the greatest source of uncontrolled information.

  • You're right ...and gov't regulation would start to kill it. I think we're on the same track.

  • All the true Americans out there need to write ron paul in, in November. I WILL BE!

  • same here

  • What an amazing turnaround the world would have seen if you americans could have propelled this brilliant man to your presidency.......Everybody would have so much more respect and admiration for the great USA

  • Our citizens are brainwashed by TV.

  • I agree whole heartedly, but the powers at be will not allow it to happen. Thats why we have Barrack and McCain, but we can write him in when its time to vote.

  • The only "moral behaviour" they wish to "regulate" on The Internet is preventing people hearing about Ron Paul and others like him (are there any others like him?!)as they manage to prevent people hearing about him via the Media.

  • Ron Paul is so spiritually enlightened and he understands the divine universal principle of FREEWILL, that's how a society ought to be. I don't need a greedy crooked politicians forcing us and our children what to do. what to watch, what to eat...so they can get more power and grow richer by screwing us even more.

  • Amen to that lastnymleft! I hope everyone who possible can is coming to the March in DC on July 12. We will be meeting @9:30a.m. in front of the capital bldg. We need to show Bush, congress et al, that there are thousands of intelligent citizens here that will unite and quite possibly, put forth a representative of their own. There are many realistic, intelligent people who are "awake" with more becoming aware everyday and we are not going away!!!

  • Ron Paul was the only choice for me; thank you news media for destroying his chance of winning.

  • crap...my last comment was directed towards the Obama guy asking for our vote.

  • This guy is the greates states man I ever saw. Is is just fantastic. I am promoting this guy here in Europe. People literally do not know what to think (or whether they allowed to think even) when they hear such rational thinking based on hundreds of years of wisdom. I will die a proud man if I achieve 1/10th of what Dr. Paul has done for the promotion of liberty.

  • fuck obama fuck mccain, i'm voting ron paul

  • HAH! When pigs fly!

  • Are you aware that Barack Obama is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and that his wife, Michelle, is a Director of the Chicago branch of the CFR? Are you aware that he surrounds himself with advisers that are CFR members, also and that his agenda is wholly CFR-approved, as indeed HE has been CFR approved?

Are you aware that the CFR agenda is what is and has been driving US foreign policy for many years, and that voting for Obama is not going to change *anything*. McCain is ALSO CFR!

  • vote for the biggest proponent of increased government and regulation? Not a chance. Barr 08'

  • barr voted for the USA Patriot ACT.

  • Cut Barr some slack. He is willing to admit his mistake and he worked towards undoing it. He is no Ron Paul, but Ron isn't running in the 2008 election. Approach Barr with an open mind, or else you're no better than those close minded conservatives or liberals. He isn't perfect but he is much better than McCain or Obama.

  • Why not vote for Chuck Baldwin, a personal friend and near political clone of Ron Paul, running as the Constitution Party's Nominee?

  • Baldwin is great but he's not really a serious candidate. Go to his website and you'll see that there really isn't much there. Plus he has no experience in Washington DC, which may not be a bad thing, but he hasn't truely faced lobbyist temptations and such. I support his principles, but it's hard to tell what kind of man he is.

  • His website could be better,I agree, but its hard for him to raise funds when the MSM is giving Bob Barr all of the 3rd Party spotlight.Baldwin's website is extremely up-front about and to the point on every issue,so I'm not even sure that more is needed on his page.I don't know Baldwin personally, but I know that he's been preaching the Ron Paul message on his Radio show for many years now,and has never wavered from it.He may be new to Washington, but it is Barr who is new to Paul's message.

  • True, true.

  • As if Barr is a serious candidate and has a chance of winning, we are talking about voting on principles here. Chuck Baldwin is a better choice, Barr is a mixed bag and not a real libertarian or classical conservative, sorry his voting record counts.

  • Better Barr than the other two Bozos McCain and Obama.

  • Better Paul than Barr.

  • Because the Constitution Party is full of theocrats who believe in a Christian nation. Alan Keyes ran for the nomination in the Constitution Party. If you are looking for someone like Paul vote Libertarian, sadly they do not have a great ticket. Vote for any party but the Constitution Party. States Rights rhetoric is not all that counts. The Dixiecrats believed in States Rights, also.

  • christian theocrats. that might even be true. but even if it is,imposing christianity and fusing government & religion, as you imply is what they are absolutely against.

if that is what you think, then you are mistaken. constitutionalists believe in individual freedoms for everyone, and that those freedoms stop at your neighbors' noses.

people who think lightly of the constiution have little regard for freedoms and even seek to curtail them in the name of "x".quite the opposite, friend.

  • Read the platform. The amount of times they mention God is startling. Politics should be secular. To look to a deity for guidance on political stances, as there platform advocates, is theocratic. Like I said the Dixiecrats liked the states rights clauses of the Constitution but anyone could see what they really liked. Beware those who would use the guise of freedom for all to free themselves and no one else.

  • Stupid motherfucker. They are polar opposites.

  • Im writting Dr. Paul in ~ he had my vote from the start~ it baffles me daily now how we didnt see through the muck of all this and embrace what this man is running his campaign on. Our military support him in vast numbers because these people are wise to the game. But it breaks me daily that we will not know his leadership because of the powers to be. Gratz Obama ... like John Wayne said ... I didnt vote for him but hes my president too. I just hope that he does right by the country. God bless.

  • why can't we have more people like dr. paul in the congress???

  • go Paul

  • God Bless Ron Paul.

One of the smartest men in Congress.

  • "God Bless Ron Paul.

One of the smartest men in Congress."

Anybody else that smart must also "get it", but have instead chosen the Dark Side.

I am so thankful that Dr Paul exists, to be able to show us that it IS possible for Good to exist in Washington.

  • Thank God, Budda, Allah etc.. we have Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich to speak truth and common sense. Without them we might have to take harsher measures to at least be heard. See you in DC on the 12th! One Love.

  • I think we should have laws that tell us what we should eat too... Oh... yeah, that's right WE ALREADY DO!

  • god he makes so much sense.

  • poker is a sport which depends on money to increase heart rate, and thus, promote cardiovascular health. it is no different than any other sport and should be legal. most sports cost money to play. and poker is safer for your health.

  • lol ur out of ur mind if youre comparing poker to REAL athletic sports. when i watch poker players its nothing but the fattest mofo's around. ur comment is retarded.

  • it is a mental sport. a competition. it teaches risk management and statistical analysis skills.

  • so awesome!

  • 99% of Politicians absolutely hate your freedoms and would love to contol every aspect of your life!! Thank God For Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich..

  • he stands alone. i love Ron Paul and what he stands for. he is my real hero.

  • amen

  • We need more people like this man. Otherwise, all hope is lost in regards to returning to our roots.

  • Best Politician in the world. Infact he changed the meaning of politics.! 5 stars. Respect !!!!

  • Integrity...I love it when I hear it!

  • Ron Paul is my Hero!

I have always wanted to be in a think tank, how does the "Arkansas Think Tank" sound?

  • "The government messes up"

  • Let's brainstorm for a moment. I completely agree that liberty and freedom mean the involvement of limited government in our lives. From where we are today, with numerous entitlements and privileges that are claimed to be rights, and people wanting the government to take care of them.. how would we logistically return to those principles of personal responsibility and limited government? A grass roots campaign to discuss this and build a think tank toward this end should be assembled... yes?

  • thank you Mr. Paul.

  • I love his voice of reason...in this mad world.

  • 100% agree with you.

  • While I agree with Dr Paul in principle, the bottom line is you get the government you deserve. The reason there are so many outcries for government regulation is that people have lost all SELF control.

It's like the gun argument - guns don't kill people - PEOPLE with guns kill people. In this relativistic culture where right and wrong is a "personal" decision based on what they "feel" you get the chaos we are living in today.

Until we return to CHRISTIAN principles nothing will change

  • And who do you think is responsible for putting those guns in people's hands? Who do you think made those guns, and who do you think never stopped making them?(hint! starts with a "G" ends with "OVERNEMENT")

You have to see beyond what lies before you. the Bible is pretty thick, but I can still see through that, though great, piece of literature and see that it's designed for other purposes than informing that there's a god and an afterlife.(Just an example, no hate intended against religion)

  • People should decide their own principles. People not following their own principles is the main issue. You would have to be very very ignorant to rely on religion to figure out what's moral and what isn't.

  • is 911 as inside??

  • definitely an inside job; to doubt it is not, is to bask in the excellent social engineering that duped you to accept the holiness of the government you've elected. feel always free to explore alternatives to the junk mass media is scattering around; a lie, just because it is told enough times to eventually ring as true, shouldn't stop you self-censoring it; 9/11 was an inside job

  • haha i know.. ive watched every video i could find on 911 conspircy and even debunking 911, and without a dout 9/11 was and is an inside job!! but our government will never ammit it..

  • That would mean that government is competent. Our government that couldn't even hide from the public things like Watergate and the Pentagon Papers. Out government that couldn't even hide the face that Clinton had an affair. Saying that 9/11 is an inside job is rediculous. Conspiracy videos on YouTube can be convincing but keep in mind they're not fact. The most powerful lies are the ones that involve truth.

  • 9/11 inside job every one knows it...

  • honest up front

  • The one person in DC whom I truly admire.

    RP 08 FTW

  • That SHOULD be "top story" or at least ONE of the top stories on the news. Wouldn't you think??

THINK. It's not illegal ... yet.

  • To summarize;

Ron Paul does not support the government regulating morality or the economy, he believes in individuals having the freedom to make their own choices.

The American government is no longer the government of Americans.

  • To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the militia, and for governing such part of them as may be employed in the service of the United States, reserving to the states respectively, the appointment of the officers, and the authority of training the militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;

  • RP kicking ass like always.

  • militia[1] citizens to provide defense emergency law enforcement, or paramilitary service, in times of emergency without being paid a regular salary or committed to a fixed term of service. Legal / historical meanings of militia include: * Defense activity or service, to protect a community, its territory, property, and laws. * The entire able-bodied male (women are usually called to work in munitions factories) population of a community, town, county, or state, available to be called to arms.

  • Awesome... I respect Ron Paul.. Genius... :)

  • How did some old guy from a generation so much earlier than us, have such a modern and intelligent opinion?

This guy is a champion - the world needs more people like him.

  • With 5 kids and 18 grandkids, Ron seems to agree. :-D

    RP 08 FTW

  • isn't it wondefull that we live in a counrty that our government believes that they need to legislate morality. Based on Christian beliefs when we have the right to freedome of religion and Most of do not want any religion.

  • Ron Paul is one of the greatest defenders of freedom in our nation's history.

  • i love that man,

  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

    now you talking!

  • 5 S☆ars-

    ☆☆☆☆☆

  • Freedom of choice? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

The government must tell me what to do and how to act.

  • well said Dr Paul; well said

  • This is an incredible response...

When we take a moment and think about how our actions creates adversarial relationships by regulating each other's actions until we become hostages. There is no such thing as a true utopia, but with liberty, we can all at least enjoy a little peace and harmony with our fellow neighbors. O

  • Thank you once again Dr. Paul. This man will be fighting for you and me until his last breath.

  • ron paul is an idea

  • The modern day Sam Adams.

  • Such a wise and capable man. The idiots responsible for placing war-nut McCain as the Republican nominee will soon come to regret their decision in the 4 years of hell we'll have with either him or Obama.

  • Beautiful logic...maybe that's why so few in Congress are listening.

They've already outlawed some internet gambling...but the companies just went overseas or the bettors started betting more overseas.

IT DIDN'T NOT LESSEN THE AMOUNT OF BETS!

The only thing it did was get rid of the most trustworthy of the gambling sites (although almost all are honest as that's how they stay in business).

Some ppl say the Republicans are always trying to legislate MORALITY -- WELL, NOT RON PAUL!

  • Ron Paul truly represents the people and is one of only about five people in congress actually honor their constitutional oath and speak for us --- We The People and our beloved constitution. The rest of them speak for the owners.

  • Such a wise man.

  • I wish Ron Paul was the leader of a political party in Canada.

  • Me too, I would love to have him as PM.

  • OMG, Ron Paul is the ultimate wisdom.

  • I say we make Ron Paul king then go back to elections afterward.

  • LOL @ 1.27... Man, I love this guy.

  • HOW can people disagree with that logic? It just astounds me that most people aren't just jumping up and down saying 'I agree!!!'

  • Because the mainstream media, along with the politicians, are bought. The logic is irrefutable; the special interests, however, are irresistible. I'm sure most of Congress realizes Paul is right in the abstract -- but they have their careers to advance.

  • Credit to the bankers, the MSM & Goverment for their ability\success in dumbing down an entire(once great nation).(While unconsitutional)I believe the US electorate should have to take a political knowledge\apptitude test before being granted the privelage of voting. What a tradgedy that one well educated and researched vote can be cancelled out by some bimbo or biggot who saw Barack get his groove on,on the Ellen show,or thinking that McCain will protect us from middle eatern bogey men!)RP 08

  • Thank God for Dr. Paul.

  • Govt is treating like us child and wants to control in all area of our personal decision .. Therefore We should know our responsibility to enjoy our freedom

At the same time only Ron paul knows how to treat citizen like adult and respect our freedom..!!!

    Go Ron Paul !!!!!!!

  • I'm still hoping for a miracle at convention, Snapplellama, but will write Ron Paul in, if necessary. When is Congress going to wake up to the fact that adults don't like being treated like imbecilic children--we can make our own decision.

  • Sounds about right. How about instead they promote a good content screener for parents to put on their computer. That would be a good role for government.

  • Private companies already do this. Why would government need to?

  • Very true. That is really what the Fed should do on these issues. Be a big commercial for a private company who does what they want to do themselves.

  • I disagree. There is no authority for it in the Constitution and I fear that something like that would be used as a springboard to add more restrictions.

  • How can these a-holes who rail against Ron Paul not respect HIS respect for individuals' rights?

  • Ron Paul is right...again...as usual.

I'm still writing him in this November.

  • freedom is freedom!!

  • If ron paul was a dictator everything would be a lot easier.

  • Yeah, but would he purge bilderberg? That'd be the one purge i'd be OK with.

  • If Ron Paul was a dictator he wouldn't be Ron Paul.

    RP 08 FTW

  • We waste so much time in session. Why can't we just all agree....with Ron Paul.
