Let adults choose for themselves how to spend their money? That's just fucking insane! How can this crazy old bastard even suggest cutting Nancy Pelosi and Obama out of such important decisions? Americans are stupid people, and they need wise leaders like Nancy Pelosi telling them how and where to spend their money.
The government certainly should not be involved in online gambling. It is a personal freedom to spend money the way that they wish to do so. It is very unfortunate when a child takes their parent's credit card and deposits funds into an online gambling website, however that is the responsibility of the parents not the government.
Support our rights, thank you Mr. Frank and Mr. Paul lets push the bill fast before it dies. The time is now... yes... now is the time for all good people to come to aid of their god given rights. Support House Bill 5843 now.
It shouldn't be secular or religious but rather freedom of choice to follow our own conscience and accept the consequences for whatever happens after. Take responsibility for your own lives.... Freedom.
It is sad, and the reason why they (the mainstream media) wont give Ron Paul coverage is because they are too afraid to talk about someone who doesn't sleep with the government like the media does.
What an amazing turnaround the world would have seen if you americans could have propelled this brilliant man to your presidency.......Everybody would have so much more respect and admiration for the great USA
I agree whole heartedly, but the powers at be will not allow it to happen. Thats why we have Barrack and McCain, but we can write him in when its time to vote.
The only "moral behaviour" they wish to "regulate" on The Internet is preventing people hearing about Ron Paul and others like him (are there any others like him?!)as they manage to prevent people hearing about him via the Media.
Ron Paul is so spiritually enlightened and he understands the divine universal principle of FREEWILL, that's how a society ought to be. I don't need a greedy crooked politicians forcing us and our children what to do. what to watch, what to eat...so they can get more power and grow richer by screwing us even more.
Amen to that lastnymleft! I hope everyone who possible can is coming to the March in DC on July 12. We will be meeting @9:30a.m. in front of the capital bldg. Are you aware that Barack Obama is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and that his wife, Michelle, is a Director of the Chicago branch of the CFR? Are you aware that he surrounds himself with advisers that are CFR members, also and that his agenda is wholly CFR-approved, as indeed HE has been CFR approved?
Are you aware that the CFR agenda is what is and has been driving US foreign policy for many years, and that voting for Obama is not going to change *anything*. McCain is ALSO CFR!
Cut Barr some slack. He is willing to admit his mistake and he worked towards undoing it. He is no Ron Paul, but Ron isn't running in the 2008 election. Approach Barr with an open mind, or else you're no better than those close minded conservatives or liberals. He isn't perfect but he is much better than McCain or Obama.
Baldwin is great but he's not really a serious candidate. Go to his website and you'll see that there really isn't much there. I support his principles, but it's hard to tell what kind of man he is.

Let's brainstorm for a moment. I completely agree that liberty and freedom mean the involvement of limited government in our lives. From where we are today, with numerous entitlements and privileges that are claimed to be rights, and people wanting the government to take care of them.. how would we logistically return to those principles of personal responsibility and limited government? A grass roots campaign to discuss this and build a think tank toward this end should be assembled... yes?
While I agree with Dr Paul in principle, the bottom line is you get the government you deserve. The reason there are so many outcries for government regulation is that people have lost all SELF control.
It's like the gun argument - guns don't kill people - PEOPLE with guns kill people. In this relativistic culture where right and wrong is a "personal" decision based on what they "feel" you get the chaos we are living in today.
Until we return to CHRISTIAN principles nothing will change
And who do you think is responsible for putting those guns in people's hands? Who do you think made those guns, and who do you think never stopped making them?(hint! starts with a "G" ends with "OVERNEMENT")
You have to see beyond what lies before you. the Bible is pretty thick, but I can still see through that, though great, piece of literature and see that it's designed for other purposes than informing that there's a god and an afterlife.(Just an example, no hate intended against religion)
People should decide their own principles. People not following their own principles is the main issue. You would have to be very very ignorant to rely on religion to figure out what's moral and what isn't.
definitely an inside job; to doubt it is not, is to bask in the excellent social engineering that duped you to accept the holiness of the government you've elected. feel always free to explore alternatives to the junk mass media is scattering around; a lie, just because it is told enough times to eventually ring as true, shouldn't stop you self-censoring it; 9/11 was an inside job
haha i know.. ive watched every video i could find on 911 conspircy and even debunking 911, and without a dout 9/11 was and is an inside job!! but our government will never ammit it..
That would mean that government is competent. Our government that couldn't even hide from the public things like Watergate and the Pentagon Papers. Out government that couldn't even hide the face that Clinton had an affair. Saying that 9/11 is an inside job is rediculous. Conspiracy videos on YouTube can be convincing but keep in mind they're not fact. The most powerful lies are the ones that involve truth.
To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the militia, and for governing such part of them as may be employed in the service of the United States, reserving to the states respectively, the appointment of the officers, and the authority of training the militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;
militia[1] citizens to provide defense emergency law enforcement, or paramilitary service, in times of emergency without being paid a regular salary or committed to a fixed term of service. Legal / historical meanings of militia include: * Defense activity or service, to protect a community, its territory, property, and laws. * The entire able-bodied male (women are usually called to work in munitions factories) population of a community, town, county, or state, available to be called to arms.
isn't it wondefull that we live in a counrty that our government believes that they need to legislate morality. Based on Christian beliefs when we have the right to freedome of religion and Most of do not want any religion.
When we take a moment and think about how our actions creates adversarial relationships by regulating each other's actions until we become hostages. There is no such thing as a true utopia, but with liberty, we can all at least enjoy a little peace and harmony with our fellow neighbors. O
Such a wise and capable man. The idiots responsible for placing war-nut McCain as the Republican nominee will soon come to regret their decision in the 4 years of hell we'll have with either him or Obama.
Ron Paul truly represents the people and is one of only about five people in congress actually honor their constitutional oath and speak for us --- We The People and our beloved constitution. The rest of them speak for the owners.
Because the mainstream media, along with the politicians, are bought. The logic is irrefutable; the special interests, however, are irresistible. I'm sure most of Congress realizes Paul is right in the abstract -- but they have their careers to advance.
Credit to the bankers, the MSM & Goverment for their ability\success in dumbing down an entire(once great nation).(While unconsitutional)I believe the US electorate should have to take a political knowledge\apptitude test before being granted the privelage of voting. What a tradgedy that one well educated and researched vote can be cancelled out by some bimbo or biggot who saw Barack get his groove on,on the Ellen show,or thinking that McCain will protect us from middle eatern bogey men!)RP 08
Govt is treating like us child and wants to control in all area of our personal decision .. Therefore We should know our responsibility to enjoy our freedom
At the same time only Ron paul knows how to treat citizen like adult and respect our freedom..!!!
I'm still hoping for a miracle at convention, Snapplellama, but will write Ron Paul in, if necessary. When is Congress going to wake up to the fact that adults don't like being treated like imbecilic children--we can make our own decision.
Sounds about right. How about instead they promote a good content screener for parents to put on their computer. That would be a good role for government.
I disagree. There is no authority for it in the Constitution and I fear that something like that would be used as a springboard to add more restrictions.

This is an incredible response...
When we take a moment and think about how our actions creates adversarial relationships by regulating each other's actions until we become hostages. There is no such thing as a true utopia, but with liberty, we can all at least enjoy a little peace and harmony with our fellow neighbors. O

Thank you once again Dr. Paul. This man will be fighting for you and me until his last breath.

The modern day Sam Adams.

Such a wise and capable man. The idiots responsible for placing war-nut McCain as the Republican nominee will soon come to regret their decision in the 4 years of hell we'll have with either him or Obama.

Beautiful logic...maybe that's why so few in Congress are listening.
They've already outlawed some internet gambling...but the companies just went overseas or the bettors started betting more overseas.
IT DIDN'T NOT LESSEN THE AMOUNT OF BETS!
The only thing it did was get rid of the most trustworthy of the gambling sites (although almost all are honest as that's how they stay in business).
Some ppl say the Republicans are always trying to legislate MORALITY -- WELL, NOT RON PAUL!

Ron Paul truly represents the people and is one of only about five people in congress actually honor their constitutional oath and speak for us --- We The People and our beloved constitution. The rest of them speak for the owners.

Such a wise man.

I wish Ron Paul was the leader of a political party in Canada.

Me too, I would love to have him as PM.

HOW can people disagree with that logic? It just astounds me that most people aren't just jumping up and down saying 'I agree!!!'
javanfirkins 3 years ago 8

Go Ron Paul !!!!!!!

TajiTJ 3 years ago
Private companies already do this. Why would government need to?
Seraph1087 3 years ago 3
Very true. That is really what the Fed should do on these issues. Be a big commercial for a private company who does what they want to do themselves.
TajiTJ 3 years ago 3
I disagree. There is no authority for it in the Constitution and I fear that something like that would be used as a springboard to add more restrictions.
Seraph1087 3 years ago
How can these a-holes who rail against Ron Paul not respect HIS respect for individuals' rights?
shabazzmb320 3 years ago 8
Ron Paul is right...again...as usual.
I'm still writing him in this November.
