@XploiTee The danish MGs was delivered first back in 1962 and as fare as I know most of them are that old... so must of them are well used... gives some problems.
oh, and its not a MG3, since they didn't start making the MG3 some years later...
but some of the changes have bin done on the danish "LMG M/62" though the years.
In the army its standard to have a Elcan sight on it...
I was an MG3 op. when i was in the Army. the MG3 is a pain in the butt.. if it gets dust (even if just a little bit) it doesn't work.. If a weapon does not work, you are dead lol
MG36 is just a LMG version of the G36, and the MG4 is also a LMG because of it's 5,56mm rounds. The MG3 has 7,62mm rounds and will be replaced in the next few months/years by the Heckler&Koch 121 aka. MG5.
@Kelvinp14 Actually the recoil is surprisingly low considering the tremendous firepower of 1200-1500 rpm and a one pound bolt. The MG3/MG42 has a very large recoil spring.
The soldier featured are most likely on some sort introduction for operators of the gun because they have a hard time leaning into the gun when firing.
The gun is ultra reliable if the bolt is maintained properly and it's very accurate even though it fires from an open bolt position and it has a very large reach.

Denmark is using the Colt Diemaco LSW, it is similar to the MG36.
