Great exhaust! I was wondering how u like the driving of a v8? I want to get one basically the same as urs. An 05 white v8 for about 16k. With 80k miles. Good deal? It has nav an DVD screens too
@CARLOVER94 it has got plenty of power to give,it is comfortable, has got various bits and toys that make operating it more comfortable, its very safe as always.though id reccomend the D5 model.it has also got great sound,it may not have as much horsepower as the gasoline v8,but it has got almost the same amount of torque and lot better gas mileage and it moves very well also.
@Henzzman I definetely agree with you but :) 4.4 litre V8 engine could produce more power than 315bhp as like it does now. Adding some turbos and stuff would make it a monster:) We have a XC90 with the T6 engine. 2.9litre I6 Twin turbo producing almost 300bhp (285 or 272). It's a bit thirsty. Looking forward to get my driver license, Im almost old enough to drive a car :)
@MySipuli well if fuel economy is not a problem to you, then be my guess.as dont look schocked, when you see how thirsty the 4.4 v8 is.i work for the company that sells both volvos and fords and it does sound really really good, but with good sound and performance, there is like i said, fuel economy.and with a 4.4 v8 its not good.also the parts for volvo are very very expensive also and i wouldnt call the xc-90 very reliable also.
@MySipuli well if you have the money to buy fuel in it,i suggest you take maximum pleasure enjoying the sound of this good yamaha engine and performance,as though xc-90 is a big car,the 4.4 liter engine makes it move very quickly.
@Henzzman about the reliability. Actually we haven't had any problems with the car. Once the battery run out of power bcause we didn't use the car much so the battery couldnt be charged up. The why is that its not our main car. But definetely you know better bcause you've been in the business nad you're a pro. :)
So, 240ish 240ish. We both know the V8 is more powerful but it has all that Volvo Drivetrain crap to go threw. I bet the loss is 30% or more from Wheel to Crank HP.
which is from the flywheel? the 315 or 311? and most, probably all car companies, measure car's HP by the crank. so just cause they say 311, doesn't mean that's what u feel

How would you say the T6 would compare?

Hah wow...you'd never expect to hear that sound from a Volvo.
Great video. I haven't gotten a chance to hear what their V8 sounds like.
