the people said it was astonishing, fascinating and all that stuff. they were emotionally impacted by whatever in a big way. then people who werent even there try to tell them they saw something rather ordinary. thats effed up. thats why people are suspicious, it looks like someone is trying to cover something up when they do that.

The important part is missing: UFO just means UNIDENTIFIED flying object. To believe in UFOs is very different from believing in aliens.

You assume it's a craft. An UFO could be hundreds of different things. To believe in UFOs just means to accept that you see things in the sky you can't identify (yourself).

Personaly I think the chance that is a spaceship is extremly low. (I read the stuff about Roswell. And it's "interesting" that a "spaceship" crashes to close to a high-security-plane-research-a­rea.)
