still has a nice prom ,and some of the sand has come back ,its nice on a nice day ,athough not enough there , all it needs is the pier to come back and an outdoor pool and a decent fair
The crowds on the shore and prom and thousands coming on the pier off the ferries is amazing when you condisor the state this place is in now.
New Brighton was certainly the place to be in the 60's. The tower ballroom burning down and the grounds closing was really the beginning of the end, wasn't it?
hi great video, the new brighton swimming baths brought back memories for my wife as her mother worked at the riverside resturant, and its a shame that the baths had to demolished i would have loved to see the tower and pier great video...well done
Such a wonderful clip. I recently visited this area for the first time and absolutely love it. I can't wait to go back. I shall watch your other videos to enable me to find out more about the places I visited.
