Datsyuk doesn't really do tricks though, he just has absolutely perfect stick work. Ask any NHL player, no one is stronger with their stick than him. It's from practising with a barbell on his stick. They have two of the best puck handlers I've ever seen now...

Detroit NEVER gets "lucky" in the draft! Every move is highly calculated. How else do you find a Datsyuk in the 6th round, or a Zetterberg in the 7th? Even Lidstrom did'nt get picked up until the 3rd round. Between this kid, Abdelkader, Helm, Eaves, Emmerton, Tatar, Kindl, Smith, and Mursak, the wings future is looking brighter. Even Kronwall was stepping up in the playoffs this past year! They already proved there is life in the "Post Yzerman Era", now can they handle the "Post Lidstrom Era".

The best part of Jurco, as is true with Tatar, is that both are very VERY hungry to play at the NHL level, and are just really competitive players; it's one thing when a prospect tries really hard and then takes it easy at the NHL level, It's another thing to compete and have that kind of hunger regardless of status.
