Love the add about the truth of Tracfone and its services. I have complete freedom every end of the month when I know at least my cellphone bill is paid for. My savings have grown and just waiting for my family to switch when their contract expires. No contract with Tracfone, only good news. The last bill I received was 2 yrs. ago...isn't that great?

I guess were what you call frugalista's, we don't use our Tracfones phones much which is why it's great being on our family value Tracfone plan which just costs us $27.96/month for 4 people. I get 50 minutes for $9.99 and my husband and 2 boys get 40 minutes for the month at $5.99 ea. Each of our phones have the double minutes for life plan on them (costing $19.99) so that we get better value for money.

Everybody seems to spend way too much their cellphone plans and they wonder where all of the money goes. Tracfone is the only company that allows you the control of only paying for minutes that you use and not a single cent more. Been on Tracfone for a while and love it!

I have been with Tracfone for years and loving the freedom of no contract and now they've brought out the Senior Value cell phone which is ideal for my parents as it has a large, lit scree with big, bold text and huge buttons.It is hearing aid compatible which is a bonus as Dad's hard of hearing and the price is rediculous...$14.99 for the phone and $7.00 a month for service!

Some of the phones actually come with the dmfl air card as part of the purchase. So, every time new airtime is purchased, you actually get double what you pay for. This makes it even more affordable and a must have for those looking to cut down on the cell phone costs.

Can someone please tell me why I didn’t find this service earlier. For using the same service, I paid easily twice as much. Now I’m on the same AT&T network and paying half the price. I could have saved hundreds over the past years on my bill, but I’m just coming around to Tracfone. My gift to others would be telling them about the service this Christmas. I have got to say that those other phone companies have just been a total nightmare.

Those termination fees are a killer, but I braved them just get the savings with TracFone. Who needs a contract when you can get such great savings and have all the benefits? I'm on my own so saving more than $75 a month is a huge plus.

tracfone really is free of long term commitment, overages, hidden fees and is not misleading their customers with false promises. i have swichted to tracfone prepaid and could not be happier. with their service, the nationwide cover with no roaming fees, and the general services they offer and provide, like the autorenewal option, and their double minutes for life.tracfone is perfect for me. i believe they have been in the cellphone market for a long time now, and their success speaks for itself

@marlulu31 Yeah I think the worst part about contract carriers is that they overcharge you for cell phone service (they must if Tracfone can offer the pay-as-you-go rate that they do) and they don't even tell you where the money is going. They are literally fleecing you.

Tracfone can also give you peace of mind. You know upfront what your are getting and what it will cost you. Allows you to keep your budget under control and may even allow for some extras, and at this time of year that is nice to have. And, because of the provider networks they use, you coverage and service will be reliable. Because no matter how much money you spend, if it doesn't work it isn't worth it.

Tracfone gives you so much freedom I agree, especially when you can buy a years plan for $99.99 and then forget about buying another plan till next year. It's financially prudent to buy every thing you can cash upfront, plus the years plan is so cheap if you have double minutes for life and bonus minutes if you buy off the Tracfone web. So Tracfone encourages financially wise behaviour.

Tracfone really does give you such freedom. For less than $20 a month you can get by with the service. I never get dropped calls or interference since the phone is on the Verizon network. Ever since I switched, I am really saving a lot of money.

it works for me too. i think tracfone is a super hit, i got a phone for myself and cancelled my existing contract, and while i was at it i got a tracfone for my nephew as well. he has just gone back to school and did not have a phone as my sister was too scared of getting huge bills at month end. tracfone offers nationwide coverage, no roaming fees, no charges for incoming text's and they offer the so called minutes for life.prepaid with tracfone definately works for me. no need to be scared

Since I got Tracfone for them, my month-end worries about what the bill was going to be has come to an end...when they've used their minutes up, it's their responsibility to refill them...on their account.
