@adamslurch71 to run 8 psig you need to upgrade only a little of shit to the truck (Injectors, high flow catalytic converter or new exhaust and fuel pump) when you get into higher psig its A LOT more coin. Your lookin at doin a whole over haul and the compression on rams are already pretty high soo 8 psig is perfect for a daily driver that wants to rape pretty much everything out there. And its a lot more than a "few extra" ponies. Your lookin at around 420 whp and 420 trq after only $7000
@TotalMagna So on that logic, why not get a 2500 Cummins, stock you get 350hp and 800 ft-lbs that will smoke a Hemi with an 8psi supercharger and the cost difference is the same.

Autos use up more power in the drivetrain than sticks, theyre heavier and usually have a higher gear ratio. So unless you cant shift to save your life, an auto wont beat a stick unless it has gears and/or stall.
Drag racers dont have stock transmissions like 90% of the cars on the road. And on the track, i cant imagine one way an auto is better than a stick

@MrMustangFan87 Hate to bust your bubble bud but they have diesels that can whip a lamb and a supra. In a chemical aspect diesel fuel has more energy potential then gasoline. Some of the first oil fueled engines were fueled off diesel however gas seemed much simpler in terms of combustion at the least. Anyways his truck could have won had he not only dropped the cargo but if he has turned off the OVERDRIVE which takes power away. from a .6 ratio in OD to a 2.6 in 1st-2nd without OD.

I live in Calgary Alberta, in the winter im pulling out kids with 3" low ricers. Just the other day there was a huge rain storm and coincidentally i seen a supra flooded out in a 2' puddle. I dont know wy people say auto is faster than stick. Ive never seen an auto beat a stick on equal cars stock. Autos use up more power in the drivetrain than sticks, theyre heavier and usually have a higher gear ratio. So unless you cant shift to save your life, an auto wont beat a stick unless it has gears and/or stall.
Drag racers dont have stock transmissions like 90% of the cars on the road. And on the track, i cant imagine one way an auto is better than a stick

@ford4point0 dude...an auto is much fast than a stick in drag racing, because with a stick the gear changing is a hell of a lot longer compared to just moving a lever, and there is a chance you will miss a gear with a stick, it happens all the time.Also alot of drag racers have 350 or 400 autos which is a three speed automattic that are in just about every car built in the late 60s-80s. they are usually rebuilt to with stand 600hp.i do admit sticks are funner and are better for circle track.

the bad thing is.. If I was driving that truck, I would've annihilated you without even trying. I would've gave it half fuel while you would've put your car's all into it. from the sound of this video, you had your throttle wide open and he didn't even try and still kept up with you for a good 3 seconds. If I was driving that, I would've shown no mercy and left you where you stood. Not mentioning I'd put a chip into it, and throw the stage to max output to where my fuel wouldn't cut off.
