  • why can't atheist's and christians get along ?

  • Science perfeclty explains the earths formation. Even I know this, and i'm not a scientiist.

  • Very funny.

    uk

  • What does the title have to do with this video?

  • the flaw in the arguement is obvious

showing that science has an incomplete understanding of the earth's formation or structure

the solution does not default to 'god' as the only answer

  • Cant science explain religion rather than prove it wrong all together?

An intelligent religious man/woman will never shun or call science blasphemy, instead they would use it to explain religion further.

There are things written in the Quraun that science has proven to be quite extraordinary. Things that at the time that it was written it would be impossible to have known. I wont say i am the most religious person in the world but i do believe in god and i also believe in science.

  • gods perfect word, open to interpretation

  • A scientific theory (in this case the formation of the earth, NOT evolution, which is something completely different) has to explain the relavant facts, but can't be contradicted by any of them.

So. On one hand we have the theory of slow formation, which is supported by thousands of facts, but has yet to explain one curiosity. On the other hand we have the theory of instant formation that explains a few facts, but is completely contradicted by thousands of other facts.

  • The hole problem is this: This sole reseacher has find one fact. That fact has not yet been fully implemented in the theory of the formation of the earth. There may be dussins of different explanations of how these halos got there.

But you can't simply state a new theory that explains this single fact quite convinient, but at the same time ignores thousands of other facts.

  • perhaps he can dind evidence of the three little pigs or pinocchio

  • This man is clearly scripting. Either reading a script or having memorized lines. No scientist talks about his own work that way.

  • You make it sound as if there's something wrong with writing down what you want to say.

  • It all adds up to b.s. is what I'm saying.

  • He writes down what he wants to say properly. There's nothing sinister behind that. I can't believe I'm saying this! Have you never held a speech?

  • I speek publicly often. Since I know what I am talking about when I'm speaking I simply use slides to highlight the main points. I do not have to memorize or read. Now, when you put the (wrong)information together with the scripting then you have something that reeks of bullshit. That is what I am saying. Its actually the content that is less believable. If you are fooled by the content, which it appears you may be, then the fake delivery should be a sign of something "fishy".

  • Alright. I'll just stop arguing here. You seem like a stereotypical fundamental christian.

  • I'm an atheist. I'm also an anti-theist. I guess you misread my posts.

  • LMAO! this pathetic moron thought LYING(that's a sin) about the content of the video might help the creation cause! pathetic ignorant creationist moron...

look at what you're doing you ignorant fool. you are going against the word of the god you claim to love so much. you flat out lied about what the video is about. your god says NOT to lie.

you can't even follow the word of your own god, and you expect people to take you seriously.

    such pathetic ignorance...poor stupid creationists...

  • You are a big hypocrit. You seem to be an atheist, and I am aswell - and I hate to see you represent atheists. I mean, you know nothing about his religion, yet you speak about it as if you did.

  • When will creationist fools like the person that set up this channel and channels like it realize that they are amongst the best evidence we can use to show our friends and families the ultimate side-effects of creationism or similar narrow minded faith based reasoning:

    Unmoral and ignorant stupidity.

  • science doesn't know everything. there is so much more we don't understand it. but just because we don't understand it it doesn't mean an invisible man in the sky did it. that doesn't even make sense. we need to keep QUESTIONING so we can continue to figure out things we don't know. if we sit there thinking we have all the answers because its written in a bunch of ancient books then we don't deserve to have intelligence.

  • Jesus spoke to me...he said I should tell you to shoot yourself.

  • Moronic!

  • wtf does instantaneous formation of granite have to do with evolution?

  • you idiot girl, get yourself to a credible secular school, open your mind, get out of your caveman beliefs!

  • Stupid Shit! Evolutionary theory does not deal with inorganic rock formation!

  • Or abiogenisis, but try telling them that, haha. The title looks like something a creationist would think Richard Dawkins would say.

  • God Damnit this is the fucking christians version of a Rick Roll. my 2nd time failing for this.

  • typical creationist science, absolutely no idea

  • I wonder if any of the stuff in this video true. I am skeptical. I thought this video would say something different. I was misslead by the title. If they have to be dishonest about the title what else are they being dehonest about? Sorry but this video lacks any creditiblity.

  • Nice job on the title. If this were good science, you would not have to trick people into watching the video.

  • This is stupid! Polonium 218 has a half life of about 3,5 minutes. However the poloniums origin is from the decay of Uranium (U 234, HL:245000 years) =>Thorium (Th 230, HL:75300 Years)=>Radium (Ra 226, HL 1602 years)=>Radon (Rn 222, HL3,8 days)==> Polonium (Po218, HL 3,5min). so even if the granite took 2000 years to cool enough to form, then it would still contain U 234 which would then decay, and finaly decay to Polonium 218.

If you want to attack a position, at least learn the f-ing basics!

  • That would be playing by the rules and honest, which such folks can't do.

  • Moron.

  • The title is as badly chosen as the background music....

  • So, let me get this straight, If natural selection and evolution is wrong, the bible's theory of creation is substantiated, who is this moron. I say it proves that the universe was created by a magical purple unicorn who pissed out the universe. Check and Mate.

  • And we know this is true, because our holy book the purple stream says it is so.

  • Notice how both these guys talk like cyborg robots. The... rocks... have.... cooled.....instantly..... therefore..... blahblahblah total nonsense. Typical govt. grant parasites. If they come back with nothing they can't get another grant to continue the junk science.

  • hahaha 2:45 " THIS is exTRORdinary ! "

lol who the fuck is this guy

  • whenever we dont know something - god has to be the answer. thats so fucken weak !

  • Wow, a radio halo that just shouldn't be there. You used cartoons to try to show us something that wasn't there. I want to break this to the author gently. These "halos" that shouldn't be there, aren't there, but you ARE barking mad and the drug store is still open. Get yourself some good drugs so that when you sleep those halos that aren't there can be in under your eyelids. You should be ashamed of yourself, but I'm sure it's OK to lie for the cause-pathetic!

  • No, what you're implying is that we MUST have the answer for everything.

That's an extremely arrogant assumption that also boasts considerable ignorance.

  • what ? i said that christians always have the answer to everything : GOD

  • There is no god. Man created god in his mind,

  • The title of this video says Richard Dawkins . . .

How do you feel when lying for your cause?

  • There is going to be a Debate about "Evangelism" Tonight at

    11:30pm EST Feb13th

    on WhereIsYourHeart Dotcom

    anyone may join

  • Pure unadulterated bollocks.

  • According to Darwin, the absence of intermediate fossil forms is the most obvious and

gravest objection which can be urged against my theory. What new fossil finds, if any,

have occurred since Darwin wrote these words nearly 150 years ago? Do they overturn

Darwins bleak assessment of evolutionary theory? If the absence of intermediate fossil

forms holds as much today as it did back then, why should anyone accept evolution?

  • Sooo.... They can't argue on a scientific field... why go for the legal field? For political gain? Asswipes....

  • this has to be the worst of all of the creationist's "creation science" arguments for a divine creator

  • balonium

  • Gentry's hypothesis for a young Earth failed all tests.

1 Gentry's entire thesis was built on a compounded set of assumptions.

2 He was never able to demonstrate that concentric haloes in mica were caused uniquely by alpha particles resulting from the decay of polonium isotopes.

3 His samples were not from "primordial" pieces of the Earth's original crust.

4 He never answered the many options that demonstrated a great age for the Earth.

5 Any contradictions required three "divine interventions".

  • Interesting when they say "there is no other explanation" when there is practically no comment by anyone else. Scientists supporting kinetic energy theory had a similar problem (to what these people call "evolutionists") when some scientist that preferred caloric theory took a bunch of random electromagnetic fields and said "Well, you can't explain that!" They pretty much went "Yea, but that's a bunch of random stuff and everything else supports kinetic energy theory." Basically, it's bullocks

  • Not one single word in this video speaks of anything postulated by evolution, nor would falsifying evolution positively prove that the bible is true. If this guy had attempted to publish anything about god doing it in a peer reviewed journal without positive evidence for god, he would have been laughed out of the editor's office. I call bullshit.

  • evolution says nothing about geology... it is the theory of the diversity of life. I'd think that scientists (I'm assuming these guys are pretending to be scientists) would know that.

  • LOL this is awesome ...you are so right!

If they can't tell the difference between biology and geology, are they scientists?

  • evolution says nothing about geology... "

You took the words right out of my mouth.

Even if this "scientist" has found these spheres,

and even if he's right about what caused them,

    it says nothing about evolution

and his conclusions are sheer speculation.

No one who has passed college level science courses

would be fooled by this presentation.

  • how does this prove or even suggest a god....

  • The fact that this vidiot thinks the clip has anything remotely to do with Richard Dawkins, pole dancing, ESPN and wrestling says a lot.

  • To paraphrase Eddie Izzard: Just because there is a problem with a theory, you shouldn't throw it all out and say "Its fucking magic!" I will present "Quick Ice" for your consideration. If there can be "Quick Ice" why can there not be "Quick Granite"?

  • TruthLifeLove (

I love how religious people will use science when it suits them, and curse it as blasphemy when it doesnt

well said, if u dont like science, dont use it to back up your out of date views

  • please..... what is this, what just coz one thing has been found (if any one belive's this)

they now think this shows how a god!! maded the earth, give it a rest, the world has moved on from the old day's before humans, worked out that that this planet was maded in 6 days, and what this got to do with RICHARD DAWKINS - TOP 10 REASONS I HATE RELIGION

  • Undiluted crap..

  • Science has far more reasonable explanation to this radioactive element.

I wonder why crhistian are the only ones who still supported fatanstics explanations.

  • These 'scientists' have been discredited many times. They are no different than Kenneth Star.

  • This is golden... :) Lol @ religulous people.

  • To consider something "the most likely eventuality" is what a theory entails.

[faith 1 belief, credence, credit (Fr. p. 320 of "Webster's New Dictionary of Synonyms") How could scientific studies be carried out without belief & credit?] You have the derivation of the word THEORY. It's from the Greek "theoria." I'm here to help you.

  • This guy looks like a top line scientist.

Show me anyone that believes this shit that is not a Christian. Oh yeah, they don't exist.

  • excelent poin friend

  • "That's something similar to what evolutunary theory suggests: that molten rocks slowly cool and form granite."

Really had to lough at that one.. :)

  • The Bible doesn't mention Polonium 218, so I don't believe it exists.

  • but the bible does mention unicorns and giants with some frequency

christians tend to believe what they're told to believe from the bible, which makes no sense since a unicorn has as much possibility for existing as a man being reincarnated or a talking snake

  • Good form.

  • @Phi1618033

there are many things not mentioned in the bible

    kangaroos for example

    do they not exist either?

  • religion = big time major league bs.

  • He can't be a real scientist, he says this has to do with evolution, in fact it has absolutly nothing to do with it. But assuming what he says is right, what is if there was water cooling down the rock fast enough?

If I put the glas of water in a freezer with a temperatur of -200°C instead of -20°C it would freeze fast enogh to preserver the boubles.

  • Uh. You know that evolution says not one thing (at all) about geology, right. O_O

  • send this crap to peer review mate

  • Hey! Whoever posted this.....can you not tell that this guy is reading? This is all scripted. His 'knowledge' isn't the slightest bit convincing.

  • lol...

  • See an atheist convert a room full of atheists into believers in minutes to illustrate con men of religion -must see !

"Derren Brown - The so called Messiah 4 of 8"

  • Buuuuuuuuullshiiiiiiiiit!!!!!

  • If you go to HILARYisaSHEMALE's channel page you'll find all kinds of misleading videos. This person is doing a great job of making creationists look bad. It's funny how they always seem to dig their own holes. Thanks!

  • he doesn't talk like he is thinking, but more like a newcaster

  • Very funny video! The link between the claimed observation and the conclusion is nonexistant.

  • This is as bad as it gets...

    Just terrible.

  • This one falls apart at the very beggining suggesting that these halo have anything at all to do with evalution. Pure idiocy.... Creations will go to any extreme, even thinking that they can pretend to be a scientist. Aside from that is was a very funny video .

  • L2 spele and grahmar

  • I gotta say, BVE... "Lol wut". He was a scientist, although one that didn't have access to the tools we do today... Don't know what point you're trying to make though.

  • Plutonium-218 is a decay product of gaseous radon-222, which is a decay product of uranium-238. That is, uranium decays into radon gas, which can move to other parts of the rock (these halos are only found next to small cracks in the rock, for this reason). This radon then decays to form plutonium-218, which produces the distinctive halo discussed in the video.

    Creationists aren't scientists.

    (Paraphrased from Philsta)

You have only proven Creationist ignorance. Grats!

  • oh, and you ARE scientist, white SIR ISAAC NEWTON was not. correct?

  • Newton simply didn't have access to what we do. He was brilliant, but again, he didn't have the tools and knowledge we have now.

  • Are you saying that these halos are not uniform throughout the granite rocks? So is this guy intentionally misleading us with his findings?

  • He made assumptions that are false about geologic chemistry, and as such, mislead people in that way.

The results are, however, NOT evidence for fast granite creation. They're totally scientifically provable. In that way, he was misleading.

  • Reported this for being misleading. It's sort of fitting, really.

  • Brilliant! Absolutley Brilliant!

And this makes Creationism look like an honest theory..... how exactly?

  • Please .. deliberately misleading right from the title. I am deeply offended by this. Lying and cheating is the hallmark of creationists.

However, I can understand you wanting to gain some credibility by using Richard Dawkins name....

  • What do geological radio halos have to do with the theory of evolution? You're a very silly person.

  • lol...

  • More peanut butter and bananas please.

  • Where's his banjo?

  • GET TO THE POINT!

    Oh I see...It's BS.

'This is evidence granites were formed instantly!' What like they are when magma cools to create rock? I hope this guy understands that there is no truly old rock on Earth. Rock is eaten away and created by continental drift. That takes millions of years and you can observe it in the very strata of all land on Earth. Idiot.

  • *sigh* Only REALLY stupid people believe in creationism. There are no two ways around it.

  • it's as simple as that...

    creationism= extremely PRIMITIVE stupidity

  • Wait a minute, now that i finished the show, i realized that this is a fake-named video trying to get people who originally wouldn't watch a creation-Proof video to watch it. Though what Ive seen now is intriguing to say the least, I'm sure that science will ONCE again disprove this. Always have, always will, feel free to flame me but I'll be laughing at YOUR sorry ass in less than a year.

See ye, also this was a dirty trick you pulled. Naming this wrongly.

  • its almost as if they are reading cue cards.

  • OH NO!! HALO RINGS!!! what ever shall i do? oh wait... nope this has been proven as bullshit already... nevermind...

  • Show me a single instance of the Theory of Evolution that attempts to explain anything other than the Diversity of Life.

Evolutionary Theory DOES NOT attempt to explain the Origin of Life, Physics, Radioactivity, or any other scientific theory.

Your arguement fails as soon as you imply otherwise.

  • And Christianity only defense after it's been proven wrong is... The devil has fooled you. Religion is just logical as this video.

  • The Theory of Evolution is merely a branch amongst several other -ology studies attached to the tree of science. This includes the origin of Life, Physics, etc. Scientists built this theory off their research in many of these fields.

  • And Christianity is NOT the first religion and all religion is based off history books, but evolution is still updated to this day, there's never been an update into religion exept "intelligent Design" which was proven to be the old thing and had no science behind it.

Basically Religion is Pseudo Science and is wrong at every turn, cause every turn is disproving science, WERE it "Always" fails. Keep in mind PROOF is what you can see in your own eyes, right in front of you WITHOUT a doubt to any

  • Radiometric dating proves that the earth is a wee bit older than six thousand years.

The fact that he us using radiative decay rates to prove creation seems a little queer.

And since when is something caused by God just because we can't quite explain it? I remember something about a grizzled man tossing out lightening bolts from the top of a mountain but for some reason that never caught on...

  • Faggot.

  • No your a faggot!

  • *you're

  • a bucket of bullshit.

  • This is complete bullshit! Are they seriously suggesting that granite isn't igneous? They're also ignoring the fact that lots of granite contains trace amounts of uranium and radon, which are other radioactive elements. If anyone's ever looked at a periodic table, they'd notice that uranium and radon are both bigger than polonium. Radioactive elements decay into smaller elements. If you put it all together, you have a perfect explanation as to where the polonium came from.

  • this is the biggest load of BS. it saddens me to think that there are people that believe this backward thinking.

  • No one wants to take away imagination. That would be awful. ;)

  • hahaha lol love it. :)

  • crap

  • OMD!!! (On My Darwin) Christians - please stop trying to use science - you sound foolish to real scientists.

  • Religion makes one too many postulates with absolutely not one iota of empirical evidence withstanding the scientific method. Religious people rationalize that because the universe can't be explained prior to the singularity that god must exist and therefore there must be an afterlife. Two completely independent postulates. You can't take the whole freaking package people. I call myself agnostic but I can distinguish between the possibility of a god and that of an afterlife.

  • Gentry has NO evidence that these structure were formed by radioactive decay of Polonium. These structures could just as easily have been produced by radioactive decay of longer-lived radionuclides, such as Radon or Uranium, or by other, non-radioactive decay process. ( (1)Tom Bailleul "Polonium Haloes" Refuted, (2) John Brawley "Evolution's Tiny Violences: The Po-Halo Mystery" )

  • Christian pseudo science...Nice. Total crap...thanks for showing how far christians will go to try and make up science.

  • I suppose the many radio carbon dating methods showing us the world is billions of years old are all wrong. And Evolution is a lie and the fossil record doesn't support it at all. Yeah, but this guy turned everything we know on it's head. Riiiight.

  • Dendrochronology, Uranium fission tract dataing, paleogeomagnetism, amino acid isomerisation rates and LOADS of radioisotope dating. One unexplained phnomenon doesn't invalidate all these methods. They are independent clocks and they all agree.

  • Like a detective finding a scence with a corpse with a broken watch at 11am and a broken clock showing 11am. Investigations find an emergency call which hung up at 10:55 and the doctor says the death occured 10:30-11:30. Sure, the clock could've already been broken or the phone records could be wrong. All the evidence could be wrong but then they would all disagree. Its the consistency that gives confidence in the current scientific consensus.

    Dramatic fail.

  • this is like one of those bad 50's educational videos (which are also often wildly innaccurate).

    Go away HisaSM.

  • lmao THANK YOU JESUS FOR SEPAKING GRANITE INTO EXISTENCE!

  • HA ha ha hahahaha!!!

I'm an idiot and even I know this is crap!

What a load of horse shit. I'm still laughing about that alka-seltzer bullshit.

  • It was the KFC tag that attracted me to this video, LOL!

This wasn't finger lickin' good :-(

  • I love the pathetic attempt to make people find this video (see description)

  • There are many problems with Gentry's hypothesis.

    1. he's not a geologist & has no idea how old the rocks are

    2. He can't demonstrate that concentric halos in mica are caused uniquely by alpha particles resulting from the decay of polonium

    3. rocks of the type Gentry uses are known to have been geologically reworked by natural processes

    Just to name 3

  • this should have been hosted by David Byrne.

  • 2:28 - polonium 218 isotope radio halos have nothing to do with evolution. evolution makes no claims about geological processes nor are they anything remotely similar. Evolution is the process which organisms change from one generation to the next. Even if this video is correct in saying that granites can be formed instantly, that has nothing to do with biology, there are demonstrated numerous methods verifiable and testable methods which can be used to date fossils from millions of years ago.

  • I think he's simply talking about the origins of the Earth, not evolution of animals, but yeah, he did screw that description up.

  • Why can't I give this no stars?

  • this is such bad science

  • just as religion cannot see the real world but describe it with dusty old books

this video cannot show the real world but with made up hand drawn cartoons

  • Since when did the Theory of Evolution mention anything about rock formation. They are arguing against the wrong scientific discipline. I'm not an expert on Geology and physical properties of rocks, but I'm pretty positive evolution just deals with living organisms.

I really don't care to hear "expert advice" from people who don't know what they are talking about.

    1 star.

  • 6:30 what is this retard talking about -- you are exactly right, how can he even make this statement while pretending to know what he is talking about. You know... the sad thing is, these kind of people go to churches and brainwash the blinded god believers with their nonsense rubbish. I know this to be a fact as I grew up with Christina parents and they always had people come to the church to talk about ways science is wrong and religion is the only way to understanding the cosmos properly

  • a good scientist tries to find out IF something is true

a fake scientists tries to prove something is true.

which group do these people in the video belong to?

  • A mystery that science can't explain doesn't prove the existence of a god. It just proves that, as yet, we don't know everything. Why do people insist on jumping to the creation conclusion every time they find a gap in our current knowledge?

  • Why is Richard Dawkins in the title saying he hates religion???????

Lies lies lies. tipical from creationists. they love to play dirty...

  • well Good Question dear Friend for the awnser we have to talk about the Word Religion. religion was created by man and i am not a big Fan but i do have A REALATIONSHIP and that is what true christianity is a realationship with our lord and savior jesus christ jesus died so we can all live he loves YOU and so do i will pray for you my good friend :)

  • terrible.

this is no way to do science.

A tiny mistery that we can't yet explain automatically becomes GOD DID IT! no way to get a scientific conclution!

That's how you explain god exists????

    terrible video... 0 stars

  • Atheism is a religion.

  • that is a lie. Atheism is NOT a religion. they don't get together every sunday, they do not build churches, they do not demand that you convert to atheism or you'll go to hell, and they do not demand 10 percent of everybodys earnings, and they are not exempt from paying taxes, like EVERY religion.

son ATHEISM IS NOT A RELIGION.

  • Great comment jose. To call atheism a faith is insane. My atheism is based on a lack of evidence to the contrary. I have no belief system, and I don't cling to it for solace. I would prefer to call it "logical thinking". It's a shame we have to give it a name.

  • This is Nonsense and a pure con job!!

    Radium (half life ~1600 years)

decays into radon (halflife ~ a few days)

which in turn decays as follows:

    86 Rn 222 --> 2 He 4 + 84 Po 218

The molten lava probably contains a radio-active ancestor of polonium which, through a series of normal well known radio-active transformations (within the granite) becomes polonium 218

    Ain't science a bitch?

Knowledge is power. Educate yourself and people can't lie to you quite so easily.

  • 'Probably' is a well known and used word when it comes to science..especially when its biased against a Creator(which is usually). Thanks for your 'probably' answer..it has really enlightened me! LOL

  • If it's true (not a forgery) science will explain it. It can complete some parts of the theory but surely it will not destroy it.

  • really? well..science has a LOT of work to do since it cant 'duplicate' making life from dead matter(and it will fail for eternity with that one) If this world and life was very simple(coz the complexities of the universe and everything in it is SUPER complex!), then maybe then i would even consider evolution ,etc But its quite the opposite. A Christian like me doesnt need to prove anything to u or save u(impossible since only the Holy Spirit can convict the human heart to bring repentence :)

  • Fail.

  • I dont get the title

  • it's implying that the video is full of shit

  • so every one else is wrong and dinosaurs are only 6000 years old.

MMM cant see this being the case.

  • Not a crazy idea to believe world 6000yrs old or so. According to evolution, world is millions or billions of yrs old and dinos died out millions of years ago.(man came much later)yet..much archeology has shown pix written in caves,on stones, etc of man(men) fighting w/dinos. Thousands of these findings..not just a few. Evolutionist are being put in a position to 'adjust' many of their views, due to overwhelming evidence against old 'truths'of theirs! Time will discredit them more and more! :)

  • Tell me of one credible finding, that has been verified by anyone with a shred of scientific respectability, and i don't mean someone who has a vested interest in supporting the creationists theories.

I wouldnt find it difficult to draw pictures of men with aliens drinking tea around the camp fire, that doesnt make it so.

  • look, its a theory ok. the scientist are not claiming that evolution is necessarilly true, they are simply trying to learn about the earth, and theres nothing wrong with that. ok fine, evolution has a few holes, but that doesnt mean we should abandon the masses and masses of evidence for evolution and turn to an unsuported conclusion to fill the gaps, eg. the whimsical magical genesis theory of the talking snake n the naked bitch

  • u wouldnt be here if it wasnt for that naked bitch, idiot. none of us would

  • wat naked 'b' u talking about? maybe that led YOU here? but dont speak for me or lie either. I dont EVEN want to know wat naked 'b' u talking bout by the way..obviously aint my thang!

  • eve

  • he (fuckmook22) was referring to Eve as the "naked 'b'". its the last thing he said in his comment above mine

  • ah ok desdes116, got it. :)yeah ..sounds just like him to say that since he acts very disrespectful. Is ok..i forgive him. He knows not wat he is talking about.

  • im a girl
