ok lets do a little comparison. Marcus was able to save like... one planet from the locust and lambent who aren't as much a threat as the covenant. Master Cheif saved the entire freakin galaxy from enemies that came in billions or perhaps TRILLIONS! So it's pretty dam obvious to me that Master cheif would win hands down.

MC could call in a Low-yield nuke or an Orbital MAC round if available. So that doesnt prove that Marcus is better either. A Bezerker is a lot like a Hunter, yet it doesnt have a gun that lobs a tube of radioactive green junk at you.
Master chief, I've played both and admittedly, yes I like halo way more, but I'm not obsessed with it, Master Chief would win cause he is a super soldier. He was trained from the age of six, he was injected with the super soldier serum, went through all the tests and stuff. All the spartans died except him, that should tell you something. Besides, Fenix is just a soldier, a marine, in powered armor.
@KamikazeOrange 1.) MC isn't the only Spartan II left.. There are many other Spartan IIs and also 300 Spartan IIIs. 2.) MF isn't a marine, a VERY experienced Sergeant. 3.) The COG armor doesn't give the soldier additional power. Just to make you know: I'm like Gears of war- games more but if you'd put the Chief against Marcus: Chief would win hands down.

Master chief, I've played both and admittedly, yes I like halo way more, but I'm not obsessed with it, Master Chief would win cause he is a super soldier. He was trained from the age of six, he was injected with the super soldier serum, went through all the tests and stuff. All the spartans died except him, that should tell you something. Besides, Fenix is just a soldier, a marine, in powered armor.

wasnt planning on coming back to this but you have brought down the hammer , masterchief is superhuman in fact he can pick heavier things up than a tank , his armor and shielding is above and beyond anything that marcus has ever faced , marcus is a marine at best masterchief is hercules heck most spartans were .

masterchief can pick up a tank and he can pretty much pick up anything depending on how much pressure is built onto him all spartans can do this , masterchief has trained in all combat forms for 30 years he is the defenition of a spartan he is a fucking supersolider none of marcuses weaponry will even come close to killing mc , mc is fucking hercules compared to marcus plus mc can run 34mph at top speeds 45to 55 mph all his abilities are enhanced in his 1000 pound armor marcus wont last 3 secs.
