In my opinion, the best comic book superhero movies are The Dark Knight, X-men: First Class, Iron Man, X2, Batman Begins, Kick Ass, Thor, Watchmen, X-men, V for Vendetta, Spiderman 2, Sin City, Incredible Hulk, Hellboy 1 & 2, and Blade. Okay/average ones are Spiderman (2002), Batman (1989), Punisher '04 and '08 and x3. Crap ones: Spiderman 3, daredevil, electra, ghost rider, wolverine, batman returns, batman forever, & batman and robin.

Spiderman 2 had that scene where Spiderman tries to stop the train with his feet how Stupid why didn't he figure out a way to shut off the engine or fix the brake? Thought they did job on Dr. Octopuss tentacles though. Dr. Octopuss was still on the train so I guess he shut off the motor and put on the brakes. They did something similar on No Ordinary Family even though the guy had difficulty stopping a pickup truck in earlier episode I guess that's one of reasons the show was canceled.

dark knight was a great film, but i personally think you cant have it be #1 if its on the same list as the original superman, that should be #1 with the knight a close second followed be spidey 2, x-men 2 and then watchmen, thats my opinion of course but i think poeple are going to judge ever super hero movie from now on based on the dark knight and you just cant do that, batmans a vigilante, superman is almost a god from another world, spideys a teen, the movies just cant be the same....

Chris Nolan I believe treats Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, as more Crime, Psychological Thriller Comic Book. However he doesn't regard it as a Superhero movie as the Nolan universe Batman is meant to be the only hero. So technically you can ignore the Number 1 spot on this video.

Wait... Superman 2 wasn't as good as Superman 1. The sequel's flaws were far more numerous than the original's.

Also, The Incredibles is definitely the best film on this list, the only movie to successfully convey the comicitude a super-hero movie should have. Plus, this leaves out a number of animated films which should have been given a chance at least.
