you can only talk with friends on wifi. when u go to the wifi home page, connect to nintendo WFC, then select "friend roster"

you can customize your profile, and from there you can put in what you want to say when u taunt

mmmmmmmm i got a question i haqvent got brawl yet but when i play do i use just the wiimote or do i need a nunchuck aswell, can someone please tell me what do i need to use the wiimote only or wiimote and nunchuck. please some one tell me thank you.

You can use it with or without nunchuck, but it is better with nunchuck or classic controller. (or gamecube controller)

It's the control stick directions. They say up or down or side, depending on the direction you push it.
