It is so sad giving his own father, husband or even his own son to die just to defend his own country and when they have passed away , their sacrifices will never be remembered again. I hope the politicians will give more benefits to this brave soldiers being sent in the front line,  especially to those families who lost a family member. Politicians!!!!!! have pity on this brave soldiers, try putting yourself on their shoes. Salamat po.God bless and protect this brave soldiers. From Germany!

The young and brave the Marines, the reason they dont wear helmets even in battle is that the heat and humidity is distracting thier fighting instincts. also the same as they wear vest. they like to fight face to face or even mano-a-mano.

The helmets and vests, i any, are only for shows and parade. They don't use them in actual combat for some reasons. Even seen Philippine soldiers in full battle gears during combat operations? No.

Maganda sana kung meron. Kevlar vests are only good for shrapnel and low caliber pistol rounds. What one needs is Level 4 Body Armor with plate carriers front and back to accomodate SAPI plates. Ang problema, mas mahal pa yun kaysa sa insurance ng mga sundalo. Mas mura mag-recruit uli at mag-train. About P150 a day plus P15 hazard pay increase. Tang**na talaga. Madaming nasayang na mga kaibigan.
