try to drive a Complete Built Unit (CBU) cars,then try to compare the driving experience in proton units...CBU cars way better than proton...malaysia boleh? then why we tak boleh build a car like CBU units? just why?

Imagine.. Proton that full spec sell in Thailand just around RM50,000.

If that sell in Mlaysia----------> ~RM60,000.

@thesevenghost tu baru kat thailand, kalu kat lain dlm 40k lebih jer.. hahaha.. sbb rakyat malaysia sume bgs2.. rm60k murah pe, kalu nak banding ngan keta lain kat malaysia nih. keta lain rm80k- 100k lepas kene tax 2kali ganda. kalu proton jual rm70k pun bgs lagi.. murah lagi dari keta luar.. keta luar kalu xde tax dlm rm30k jer.. tapi kat luar la.. kita kan kat malaysia.. kualiti x penting, janji buatan malaysia..

this out of experience my man, Chinese cars are good if you're looking for one thing...looks, other than that, it's car rubbish...literally.

Korean Hyundai is very good, it depends on the type of car and how much you're willing to pay. As for Proton, the only considerable type is GEN-2, it's an excellent car FOR IT'S PRICE. Not comparable to BMW or Mercedes for example, but very convenient and comfortable, with lot's of technology ;)

almost all of the past Malaysian cars are quite rubbish. but nowadays, Proton has improved a lot. the cars they build are much much better. so chill out my friend. when Proton decides to export their car to the States, you'll get the good ones. i'm sure proton will be your best buy for the price. and did you know, Proton Satria Neo won the 2nd most slowly depreciate car in Britain last year.

Its because Proton cars cannot pass the safety and quality test applied to all cars which are transported ANYWHERE in the world. So States' level of safety and quality benchmark is too high for a..uh...sad cars like Proton's.
