The only connection between this "Blue Lagoon" and the movie is the word "Blue" It's name conveniently changed from "Blue Hole" to "Blue Lagoon" after the movie debuted.

well i no there is a blue lagoon in Jamaica i pass it comeing fr Boston jerk going to spaulding. a local told me they sent a rasta man down 300 feet with rope n he had to come back up because he could not find the bottom

This is definitely a mistake. Blue Lagoon was filmed at the Blue Lagoon, Yasawas, Fiji. I was there. in Fiji, .and I know a Fijian who was involved during the filming there.
