We picked it out before we were even pregnant .. Just heard it and loved it and went with it .. Elizabeth is her middle name and its a family name .. So we used it !! Alice was discovered from movies haha LOL .. But I love it and it suits her great

WHAT a story!! Funnily enough...It sounds VERY similar to my daughter-in-law's experience! She was in a horrendous amount of pain and was only 4 cm...so she decided on an epidural. But...then her water broke and by the time the anesthetist got there...she had dialted to 8cm....so we waved the anesthetist off! Ten minutes later she was fully and just a few pushes...and out popped my little grandson! He was 8lbs 5oz ! But, one of MY daughters weighed 8ibs 4oz! LOL!

Congrats to you! I had a natural labor too...twice in fact lol. The first time wasn't my choice, but the 2nd time was. My 2nd labor was like yours. I was in labor for like 8 hours & then as soon as my water broke my son was born! Its no joke! And my son was also 8 lb 4 oz also :) Congrats...glad she is finally here! I was almost a week overdue also. I bet you're glad its all over! lol

If you really realy do not want the epidural then tell the nurses and drs that .. say that you dont want it offered to you .. and maybe that will help!

Congratulations!!! my daughter was born on the 7th! at 10:45 a.m, weighed 8ls 8oz. Labor was a breeze thankfully but pushing was a beyatch!! I also went all natural :D:D i pushed for an hr and a half and tore pretty badly, so i'm glad to hear you only pushed for 10 min, lucky you!!..but all of it was well worth it.
