Trained weather officials determined this a EF5.... no matter what u dumb fucks think a bout its size or that its not big enough to be EF5 .......its an EF5. Classic stove pipe tornado......the reason why this twister looks like its not EF5 because not many F5 have been Stove pipes... most of the F5's you think about are the wedges and multi vortex or wrain wrapped monsters.....Its an ef5 so all u imbisles soak that in

I have some serious doubts about this thing being rated EF 5... Judging by it's size relative to the surrounding trees, I'd be surprised if it was even EF 3.

Size is not a factor in rating tornadoes. Well constructed houses in Elie were completely destroyed by this tornado with one of them ripped clean off its foundation; that is F5 damage.

There is also a relationship between the diameter of the debris in which the tornado kicks up and the tornadoes wind speed. In this case, both are much smaller than what you'd expect from an EF5. Also, aside from what the video owner had to say about this tornado, what evidence do you have that the tornado did that kind of damage?

Indeed there is a trend for stronger tornadoes to be larger, but there are exceptions. I have read the abstract from Environment Canada for one thing and there is a video taken of this same tornado from another angle that shows it throwing a house.

Yes. Tornadoes are rared from F0 to F5 based on the severity of the damage they do. F5 is the highest. It means that well built houses were completely obliterated, with nothing left but the foundation.
