actually, much of the music industry anywhere u go has a basis in looks and image. If you find out more about Jay, you will realize he was originally rejected for his looks. He's not as good for singing this type of song but he certainly holds his own musical talent and has the charisma to succeed. I don't spend too much time speculating ifs because obviously his success is a major reason for exposure to this song and Fei Yu Qing's talent.
