The show's only weakness is that it's not exactly a show. I didn't exactly grow up off of GI Joe, but I saw it once in a while and definitely wasn't complaining. But the realism of this version alone puts it head and shoulders above every other versions.

oh about time, I used to love the show as a little boy. But watching it now, it annoys me to see everybody bailing out of the planes and tanks before being shot down and nobody dying. Just like the A-Team. What kind of combat is that?

The series in the 80s was meant to help sell the toys, and was loosely based on the comics. Resolute is based on the comics as well. I don't know what the live action movie was based on, but it was god awful. There's even going to be a crappy sequel or two. I'm an old fan of GI-Joe, and I think the old series by Sunbow is still enjoyable even though it was really campy , but can't stand the Dic versions.

amazing, i really ho[pe they turn resolute into an actual, full length TV series, they've done so awesome with it just with the little mini-web series, and opened themselves up to do a much longer more in depth one, i.e better than Sigma 6, which while good, has to be taken as what it was, a sat morning cartoon for little kids, most joe fans i know are in their late teens to mid thirties. but still,
