I loved that dog and if I knew you were going to say bad things about me giving her to you then I wouldn't have done it in the first place. You also promised to keep in touch with me and let me know everything. You emailed me back once and I never heard from you again. You ignored my last email which was not really that long ago. I did the best thing I could for that dog and thats love. I would appreciate you not talk about the "original owner" like that. Give her from her original mother.
You asked for a deaf dog on your craigslist and I had told you that people had recommended to put her to sleep and I told ya'll I did not want to do that! I drove Kiah over EIGHT hours to bring her to you because I knew I could not give her the attention she deserves and ya'll seemed like you would be a great fit for her. I cried the whole eight hours there and back because I wanted to keep her so bad. It's not right for you to say I no longer wanted her.
Ok, you should really post the facts. I was Kiah's original owner. We did not keep her because I was in school full time and couldn't give the time needed to teach signs and it could be dangerous to have children around some deaf dogs because they startle when you waker them sometimes.
I have a 6 year old deaf girl named Kirra. She was 6 weeks old when I got her and by the time she was 3 months I realized her handicap. She has taught me so much. We are blessed with these special friends.
a have 2 deaf heelers that my family and i rescued and they are just fabulous :) one of them we call C.C. does agility (i have videos on my account if you wanna see)
they were both unwanted because of there deafness which is so sad :( so thank you for taking in a deaf dog when many people dont step up to the challenge :)) trust me, they are worth it!!!!
beautiful puppy keep alive like deaf people no different and no big deal..wont hurt.
i will take deaf cat or deaf dog whatever still adopted nothing wrong ..past time a vet said oh deaf dog have pain should put sleep but what about deaf children there no different .
