If the Saints defense doesn't significantly improve this year, I'll be surprised. They already had two good DEs in Will Smith and Charles Grant. They got Bobby McCray. Ellis is going to be monster with Hollis Thomas. They picked up Vilma who is going to team up well with Scott Fujita. Rivers will learn a lot from them too. Dan Morgan will prbably be a back-up but that is incredible depth. Josh Bullocks is pretty good at safety too. They are loaded.

Rivers?? He went to Cincy at #9. Haha if we had somehow landed Ellis AND Rivers, that would've been one of the best 1st/2nd round drafts of all-time. Anyways, I completely agree. I still think our secondary is a weak spot and vulnerable to big plays(so what else is new this decade?), but its amazing what a strong front four can do to hide a subpar secondary(ie Giants in the Super Bowl).
