  • that ain't fokken art

  • Nice a big ice crusher ^^ hehe

  • ohhhh gee wizz!!

  • oh golly this very entertaining, were do you buy them from??!!

  • just google aser spec NR7

  • I don't have a company or any practically use for thus, but it seems like fun. Just make everything out of ice for the hell of it! Ice bowling pins, ice margarita glasses, ice cooler (litterally), or stuff that wouldn't even serve a pupose. "Let's make Michael Jackson's face out of ice!"

  • Hi. What type of material did you use for preventing the ice from slipping on the table? Where can I purchase those long bits?

  • at least you know your tool will stay cool without adding coolant lol

  • Ummm maybe it's just me but

1: the "thousand of man hours" have already been spent thisis old technolodgy rebuilt into a fantastic machine.

2: Building a mold... hmm I think I'll just cnc a mold and then fill it... pfff please. This is by far the superior way of doing it.

well done great video, nICE machine.

  • why not cast the water into a mold

  • Water does not cast into a perfectly clear form. You can take block ice, which can me make clear, and machine it as demonstrated here. There is only one company with patent for molding clear ice.

  • Hahahah oh wow. You don't get a patent for each new solid material you think of putting into a CNC machine. Machining solid materials is inherently part of what CNC machines are. It isn't like everyone was like "CNCing ice, that will never work" it just wasn't cost effective till now.

  • The patent isn't on the ice. The patent is on the process they use that makes the ice clear. It's probably chemical based.

  • Clear ice is created by vibrating the water during freezing. I think the patent on that expired a long time ago.

  • What company is that

  • ha funny. they should.

  • how useless, next they will come up with a machine that makes chocolate teapots, think of all the thousands of pounds and man hours it took to make that useless machine!!would it not be easier to make a mold fill it with water then freeze it?A:it would be quicker and B:It would be reusable,

I bet some doughnut has made a machine out there for machining cheese or even jelly?from the block!!WOW,

    TWATS!

  • you are kidding right?

ice is an effective machining medium that is easy to cut....drill....and form in any way.......a perfect prototyping material. and due to its low cost and easy machinablity you can do practicly anything with it...and not loose any material costs!

  • Yes Yes Yes Just But why sould i waste my time replying to the downright patently obvious work it out for yourself if you can

  • Kindred spirit

  • Cool.......I mean COLD!!!!

  • N-ICE
