a friend of mine has a Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI , and it has the same maximum speed 260km/h on speed-o-meter like Audi A6 which has 3.0 TDI , and I think that it goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 7 seconds like Audi , or 8 , I don't think 9 or more seconds are necessary for reaching 100km/h , I saw that car with my eyes , but I didn't saw the engine , maybe he has bigger engine , but I don't think so , which is the reason the bodywork is made from cardboard ? lol , maybe that model is a sport one , idk

(which is probably already too much for me, because I'm still a student at a university) that should suffice for at least another 5 years or more! I do enjoy most Audi models (exept the A2/SUV models, ... the former's ugly, the latter just wastefull!). It's design is just brilliant!!!

It is beautiful, strong, just perfect!
The SUVs may look cool, I just don't like the fact of carrying around 2.5 tons. I need a way bigger engine to compensate the heigher weight, and worse aerodynamics :(
I would even settle for an RS4. Beautiful, nice sound, strong enough for the autobahn ...
oh, one thing ... what's the gas price over there? :D

the Q7 engine is awsome.. check out the 6.0TDI V12 (L) or just the 4.2 TDI, it is a very powerfull engine =D

1.10 per gallon?? we pay around $6.50 per gallon, for an rs6 (the premium stuff) more like $7 ... 2 weeks ago it was $7.50. But those prices are low because of the weak euro right now! 2 years ago we had gasprices around $10/11 a gallon! Diesel is usually 15-20% cheaper!! so no rs6 for me :P
Cars are expensive, too. the cheapest A3 basic starts at $25k

yeah ... in some cases it's so cheap in the us, that people actually reimport the cars! It's cheaper to buy a car in the us, ship it to germany, ... pay tax and vat on it, rebuild the car, so it would comply with german standards again (i.e. change red, to yellow turn signals) than actually buying the car in germany ... especially with higher priced cars you can end up paying severel tens of thousands of dollars less ... it's rediculous
