Everyone there is a book released in Japan called Hyrule Historia it shows every little detail about the series and more importantly shows the official timeline check it out and please spread the word
Skyward Sword is about the creation of the Master Sword. It is the same sword in Ocarina of Time. Fi has entered the Master Sword into an endless sleep in the end of Skyward Sword. Now, with simple logic, Fi should have still been sleeping in the Master Sword in Ocarina of Time...and she didn't. The "legendary hero" who Navi spoke of when Link first saw the Master Sword in OoT, that hero must have been the Link in Skyward Sword. In all logic, Fi should have shown up in Ocarina of Time.
Wait this doesn't make sense: Speaking as a person who played the game, Fi, Link's guide in his quest, in the end says she can't stay with Link, she has to enter a endless sleep. But she also tells him "we shall meet in another lifetime." I found this interesting. Now, Nintendo has said that Skyward Sword is a prequel to Ocarina of Time. In OoT, when Link first sees the Master Sword,Navi says "It was used by a legendary hero." Obviously, the Skyward Sword Link. How come Fi didn't show up in OoT?
well... a few things one at 2:28 wtf you talking about zelda never being portraid as a nothing but a princess and i think that i like twilights princess graphics the most, this seems like a mix between twilight princess picturing, and wind waker.
I also noticed on some hylian shields (google it) the bird is carrying another piece of the triforce. If you look at the triforce it has three pieces and the middle is vacant. That can be a shocking discovery if there IS another piece. I love having my mind getting blown away.
@MrPublickenemy1 Thats the tetra force theory.Myamoto and Aonuma vehemently denied it in an interview. They even took it out of the later hylian shield designs.
I have a theory about the story. At the end, when Link & Zelda have defeated a powerful evil with the master sword, there is a curse put on them to be continually re-born and always have to bond together to defeat the evil that threatens hyrule, as a side effect they will always be drawn to each other, but they will never "be together". Which i think explains the constant "will they won't they" of Link & Zelda, and gives it an element of tragedy.
if this is the game before ocarina of time it doesnt make any scence when young link meet zelda in oot she didnt know who he was and at that point zelda was a princess and she was a little kid so it doesnt make any scence if zelda isnt a princess in this game then WTF?
@TheKnightOf0 i heard that it was on purpose and that the game might have some sort of other reversing other things like reversing time like in majora's mask
@sourcekings i understand showing love to an old game but its just weird how we settle for things all the games are the same. just weird a little you could of been in a comma and woke back up and taught it was the same game. and people like it. this game could be the best looking game thats out they have the money to make games that are amazing but you guys keep letting the crappy n64 games still come out they dont even be caring they put stuff out and they know you guys will just buy it.
@sourcekings the hell are you talking about.they didn't have graphics like this at all 20 years ago.how old are you kid?these graphics are amazing for the wii's standards and graphics dont make the game.go screw call of duty.
another great early thoughts, but one major flaw. You didnt talk about the mysterious man at the end of the trailer that everyone is fussing about. I was hoping to hear your thoughts on him!!!
Interesting point about the birds, I didn't notice that. Something I did notice is the character fighting Link at the end of the trailer, maybe he is the new main villain, since this is before Ocarina of Time, it seems that Gannondorf probably won't be the main villain. Anyway, this game looks great, I can't wait to play it! :)
one thing not covered was that there seems to be 2 main overworlds, the skyloft skies that appearts to have many floating islands that could be accessible to go to like windwaker, but also at the end of the trailer link jumps off his bird or dragon duck an awesome name ign made up that seems to go down into the land of hyrule or the land before hyrule, which means there could possibly be 2 overworlds which really would make this the largest zelda in history

THAT GAME DOESNT LOOK TO GOOD. WHATS GOING ON WHY DO PEOPLE SETTLE FOR 20 YEAR OLD GRAPHICS
sourcekings 8 months ago
@sourcekings I don't think it's the graphics we settle for, it's the 25 year old series that always delivers.

Anybody think the guy at the end is Vaati? He looks like the ones we have seen before and the tornado seems like him.
newguyhi 8 months ago
@newguyhi It's not Vaati, it's a guy called Guinarihm (or something like that). It's was confirmed in E3.
