  • Nice work bro

  • It's always like, movies that tell the Americans are always the hero but it's actually the opposite. The Americans were deluded with Hollywood movies are defending the wrong country, the Government of the United States is evil. In the third world war China will be the largest power in the world, because China, Russia, Brazil and North Korea destroyed the United States of America the waste of humanity.

  • @Andersonkchacal look Friend, if they even attempt that. We have startegic missle silo's ready at a moments notice to release hundreds of nuclear warheads on all countries of the world. It is proven only 20 nukes will end the world and cause a Nuclear Winter. If we go down we're taking you with us. USA USA USA USA!!!!!

  • @Andersonkchacal Alright, I'm Russian, and I think you are completely retarded. Chinas army is completely overrated. Sure, you have 2 billion people, but you don't have the resources to move those, nor do you have the equipment to deal with any modern superpower. Brazil's armed forces are a complete joke. and North Korea? It's army consists of a bunch of underfed and undertrained deluded idiots. As far as modernization goes, their main battle tank is a bastardized T-55.

  • Besides some gear inaccuracies, best war film I've seen on youtube. The quality of the actual picture and the acting made the setting very realistic. Just get the guns and gear worked out, and HBO will be begging you to do a Vietnam version of BoB.

I understand how expensive the gear is though, I'm a Vietnam collector and I'm scrapeing up change to get original surplus.

  • fuck, this was so good

  • this video would be better if there was the vietnam era m16. also some muzzle flash mabye? if it was in there i didnt see it.

  • GOOOOD MORNING Vietnam

  • Sad :( GREAT FILM THO

  • when is part 2 coming out?

  • luv this video its great

  • Wow This is Great :D

  • i would like to point out the m16s used in this vid dont fire at all there is no cartridge coming out of it nor do they pull the trigger just a detail but still sloppy if you ask me

  • fuck me that was good it could have been a part of a proper feature film

  • misleading title

  • that was really good. the only thing i didn't like was the fake recoil, wasn't that convincing.

  • nice job looks so real

  • What's the song called that they are listening to in the beginning??

  • i say this is perfect except for one reason, recoil. when you fire the gun show alittle more recoil. makes it more belivable

  • 5:16 hand grenade base ball

  • REALLY good job, indeed. Hard to believe that this is low-budget (and I'm not talking about guns or other uniforms).

  • This is pro work man. really great job. But you guys are using the wrong guns. In vietnam they used the M16A1, not the M16A2

  • @The506thParatrooper try reading the info mate :)

  • @ELITEclan100 oh ok, my bad ;)

  • @The506thParatrooper haha i thought that too, but then i read the other comments and he said the reason why in the description :)

  • How did you do the blood?

  • Awesome...Just awesome.

  • Im loving the fact that the ad next to this video i about making calls to Vietnam for only 1p lol

  • so you are making more right judging by the description?

  • Fail

  • INSANE WORK MAN!! REALLY EPIC!! VERY NICELY DONE! :)

  • epic fail

  • When you have time stop on my page and check out

    ON DESPERATE GROUND

It is going to set a new bar for homemade war films on Youtube.

  • awsomeeeeee

  • that was awesome!!!! but the only thing it needed was shell casings, from Action Essentials or someting

  • well done!

  • im guessing u used airsoft guns?

  • This looks professional apart from the props but i read the description

  • DUDE 50 kills!?!?!? Thats two nukes right there.

  • That was absolutely incredible! seriously good, well done!

  • woa playboy

  • I wouldve done the same thing, if i knew i was going to die and not make it out ill call an airstrike on my position and die with the enemy and my brothers.

  • 203-352-8600 if you llike mickey james call this number and tell them to bring micks back it is the wwe number

  • awsome i am well intrested in nam after whatching films such as we were soldiers and playing black ops make more make one about hue city and guy below me hippie hair was the style in 60s and 70s

  • the actors are too old and have long hippie hair

  • @BoyishlyCuteBritYank whatthe fuck do you mean by to old ???

  • This is great! Please make more, this is top notch stuff.

  • Excellent!! Extremely well done, amazing.

  • Isn't this scene from the movie hamburger hill?

  • hey whats the song called the one playing in the radio

  • Great video! Onlyt thing that bothered me was how at 3:00 the shotgun doesn't even move when he shoots. I guess adrenaline could reduce kick alot, but it would of moved more than that. Great video though!

  • Cuts, Noise, Environment are perfect! Nicely Done Sir

And -Bravo Six ready for action...

  • Pro work! Nice job!

  • GAHHH I CAN'T BELIEVE YOUR PROP PROVIDER SCREWED UP

    Great film though

however, make muzzle flashes greater next time (gotta be bigger)

  • GAHHH I CAN'T BELIEVE YOUR PROP PROVIDER SCREWED UP

    Great film though

  • Weak! What a cheap ass production. At least they could have gotten the weapons correct. They're carrying M16A2s instead of M16A1s.

  • @jporcel100 Fail Troll is Failing... Jporcel100 fuck off i bet your ass couldnt even edit anything like this.

  • what is this from?

  • Special thanks to Anillo Industries for all their long term support over the years! and i will keep my promise!

  • To all crew and or actors, your work was outstanding and without you, this would have been nothing. Your talents and training has brought you to a level of professionalism i have never worked with before, it was an honor to work you on this beast. All of my thanks go to you!

  • THIS IS STUDENT MADE OMG NICLY DONE!!

  • its too bad medal of honor decided to do a reboot instead of this. Now Call of Duty Black Ops stole away the opportunity irony

  • wasent veitnam in the 60's...

  • @ww2production yes it started around 1964 i think

  • @jeff72496 yeah i know but im saying that becuase it says 1970.. they would have ben heading home if it was that year.

  • @ww2production i think it ended in 1973 actully im not to sure actully

  • @jeff72496 i would ask my dad but he didnt really fight in veitnam , but he was in the bloody red 1

  • @ww2production he was in WWII?

  • @jeff72496 no, when i said that i meant they sent him home after boot camp.. but that was like 2 year

  • @ww2production ohhh i geet it haha sorry

  • who cares about historic accuracy that was a GREAT movie very well done

  • Too bad theres no screaming NVA's...made it more realistic

  • great video. you could just buy some vietnam era handguards if your budget allows because the 30 round magazines were used in vietnam around 1970 so it would be accurate to have the 30 rounders.

  • @bigredonedday, You obviously didn't read the info before you made your comment, thank you for your constructive feedback at least! ;D

  • @thejugglerrr yes. i did read the info and i do know that you had a limited budget but just a suggestion for future videos.

  • Comment removed

  • That was an exceptionally well done short film a little bit more emotion could have been given at times but all and all that was a really good movie I especailly found the part where he had the flash back to his younger years with his grandfather a really deep part that was pretty moving

So all and all good job guys I enjoyed watching it!

  • wow... Great job!

  • Uhh, if this is the Vietnam War, why are they holding M-16 A2's which haden't been invented yet? They should be M-16 A1's or earlier if it's 1970.

  • @yakfitguy - Try reading the info sir.

  • @yakfitguy M16A2's were invented check up on your info. They were made because the first M16 kept jamming, and overheated quickly.

  • @yakfitguy dude shut the fuck up no one wants to hear your gun knowledge you no life get a girlfriend

  • Damm dude, nice work :D u deserv som award for this xD

  • want a free medal of honor beta key? - /watch?v=wWcv_3lZ-kY

  • screw EA, just got my medal of honor beta key for free! - /watch?v=wWcv_3lZ-kY

  • Geez, this was pure platinum. Don't see hard working people making quality films without pay like you guys. It really struck an emotional chord. A soldier of fortune.

  • it totally tite

  • Very good trailer start! But sadly this didn't strike me as a Vietnam like setting. The camera had a strong light in it and the almost antique like glow gave it a World War II Pacific Theatre feel to it. Remember vietnamese jungles are dark and normally not a lot of light shines through them. The cammo face paint wasn't common in Vietnam either except for the green berets, snipers and special ops. Other than that awesome job!

  • @theproducerspart2 Thanks for the feedback! 1st, I wanted it to look unbearably humid and warm. 2nd, None of the soldiers had any face paint, intentionally, but a lot of grease, dirt, and mud. Vietnam had it's share of hot days under the sun too! I'm planning on shooting one outside of school soon with no budget, time, or writing limits!

  • man they should make more WWII and vietnam movies

  • that was great job keep up man very well done

  • M16 is the plastic toys the lobbyists are forcing the government to buy with our TAX MONEY. The attrition rate of an inferior space-age m16 toy is 50 times of an ak 47, i.e. you are spending just 15 bucks a day for keeping it in workable condition!

  • Nice job for nothing really high tech.

  • m16's got m1 sounds? nevertheless its very well made.

  • @dylf14, I'm intrigued how you think they have m1 sounds, considering i mixed every sound in here from numerous existing sounds in the Sony sound FX library to make my own unique sounds.

  • @thejugglerrr i sort of hear that signature *ping* sound when the clip is ejected every time he puled the trigger of the m16. Don't tell me you didn't notice.

  • @dylf14 , your hearing a metallic clank i sweetened into it to over emphasize on the early buffer tubes and the "Prang" sound that m16's made.

  • @thejugglerrr you all do know that the M1 Garand was stil used

in Vietnam ?? so you could say the M1's Are in the background :-)

  • @NeogorN88 good thinking! positive and creative!

  • @thejugglerrr thats not an m16 its an m4a1 always confused with the m14 and m16

  • @091jackman, um no. m4a1 is not 24 inches long with an a1 upper.

  • @thejugglerrr dude my uncles in the army my grandpa fought the vietnam war and my other uncle uses an m4a1 i know more aout guns then u do dude

  • @091jackman, Brother:Marines retired. Father: Army MP Captain. Wife's father: Vietnam Medic attached to the first force recon Huey insertion teams. TAKEN DIRECTLY FROM WIKIPEDIA .

    - "The M4 is similar to much earlier compact M16 versions, such as the 1960s-era XM177 family."

    - "...all U.S. military-issue M4 and M4A1 possess a flat-top rail on top of the receiver..."

Before you go and pretend you are god, try using the internet to check your facts 1st!

  • @091jackman, and another thing, check out my video "gun's and heavy metal" to see what kind of lifestyle i grew up with since before i could speak. Your uncle probably doesn't live with you, nor does your grandpa, so how are those sources valid?

  • @thejugglerrr dude my whole life is around guns my ubcle taught me every thing i know which is everything about guns from WW1 to now

  • get on cod

  • @kinghazza6 CoD is for 10 year old kids ^_^...to much mini maps or funky campers LOL

  • @BlackTurtle82, maybe i should do a COD parody!

  • I shit the m16 two days ago and it keeps on jamming! My brother said i had bad luck, but i say it needs to be cleaned or something

  • i hope they make it for xbox 360

  • that was amazing ive been thinking about trying to make one similar to that but i cant get it that good. you guys are awesome. great vid.

  • Awesomely Dode Film!Everything Is Good:Uniforms,Guns Lighting,Soldiers...But Maybe A Little More Effects Quality.

  • this is awsome i luved it good work guys!!!!

  • This was done in your yard, on a low budget, with amatuer acting? holy shit you guys are good

  • y the man did not die?

  • You've got a lot going for you guys here. As has already been mentioned, there is some shortchange on acting, but I had no idea this wasn't done professionally until I read the description. No matter the acting, the whole thing just FELT real and pulled together into ten minutes of excellent drama. Nice work.

  • Thank you very much sir! i really needed to hear that :D

  • really well done guys, this is an effective short film :)

  • hey, awesome job.

just wondering if you've taken any film school lessons or anything before? cause this is pretty sick..

i've recently started to research into what equipment and software to use for a recreational project i want to do which is to target to make a movie trailer, with the ultimate goal of making it look as real/hollywood as possible..

some parts in your video made me wonder if this was done by pros? until i read your description about it being filmed in your yard..

  • not bad man

but they didnt have m16a2's back in those days

    only A1's

but apart from that i enjoyed it

  • Feel free to read the description before you post again...

  • nice but needs better voice acting

  • 100% agree.

  • the voices need to be improved

you need to make it seem like REAL screaming and REAL pain

this is a sample of trying too hard 7:40-7:53

    other than that, GREAT JOB!

  • awesome vid man really good work 5/5 and i subbed :)

  • Wow!!!! That would be a great show! hopefully they make it!

  • good video, no wait, Excellent Video! 5 STARS and i hope you continue making short films like this.

  • what's the name of end song?

  • hey i just wanted to say great film. this is by far one of the best ive seen on such a low budget. i was hoping you could tell me how you did your bullet hits, explosions etc. this video is outstanding and should recieve more recognition.

  • If only getting into Hollywood was about talent and not "who you know" that's why im giving up on the industry. I changed my major to Game art and Design because that industry WILL hire me for my talent, not bullshit me around like the Film industry. If they could only see my true potential. oh well, their loss.

  • well said. good luck

  • You mastered the battle and brutality of Nam perfectly

    1,000,000\5 stars
