I haven't been there since May '07. So, I don't know that they are. There's probably no way for them to do that since it's approachable from many directions and it's not really being abused. But, that's as much as I know!

Big Bluff is amazing. I get out there whenever I can.

I've heard though, that they are now restricting access on the trails. Spring rains apparently washed out the trail on either side? You know anything about that? I shot a little bit of film from the other side of the river looking back at big bluff titled "hiking the buffalo", let me know what you think.

I went to Big Bluff about three weeks ago, and the trail I went on was open. It's the trail that leads to Granny Henderson's old homestead.

@m0ore00 the slide you are talking about is on Indian creek and it did slide. We talked to a park ranger and they are going to do nothing to re-open it ever! It was a beatutiful trail. Maybe in the future we can work at getting it back open.
