  • Sick move down the sideline to get into the endzone.

  • Kind of sad anyone got fooled by that - the play looked like a rollout pass at first, so nobody should have stopped playing pass defense anyway except the containment guy.

  • the other team lost cause the guy missed the tackle at 0:11 ............ sucks to be him

  • nice trick play there

    it was good

  • Wow thats just like the steelers play in SB 40 but just flipped

  • Cliche' trick play

  • I would call that a screen making all the D-Linemen come trough and he throws the ball directly to the reciver who gets it, cause it wasent a forward pass, the reciver was legally allowed to pass to the other reciver so he could score a TD, any team could do it...

  • good song too lol..sweet play

  • hahahahahaha

  • basicly the same thing the pariots did.

  • Yea tyour right rachola.I hardly see this play now-a-days =o

I hope some teams attempt to do it this season <_<

  • I am guessing that they called a tackle eligible play before the ball was snapped, if not then the play would be dead for illegal touching of the ball by the lineman.

  • It is a lateral...so you don't have to call a tackle eligible play (which is illegal in college football)

  • Knights is right, anyone is eligible to receive a backward pass.

  • My team did the wrong ball trick and the refs blew the whistle. They called it an invertant whistle or w.e

  • once when i played junior high school we did a trick play that worked so well the ref blew the whistle when he thought the ball carrier was down and we got a 80 yrd run called back

  • Why more teams don't use a lineman to throw a forward pass is beyond me. It gives you an extra eligible receiver!!! Instead of 5 you get 6!!!! And who the hell would ever think a lineman would throw a pass??!?!? Or even get a lateral for that matter. A play like this would work every time as long as the lineman has a good arm.

  • dude at the end should be embarrased

    juked out his shoes

  • now that was helllaaa klean !

  • I could have thrown a pass just like that. Except the MHSAA is retarded and o-linemen cant throw passes in Michigan.

  • The guy that threw the forward pass started walking off the field right after the receiver caught it...he already knew.

  • that guy at the end got served

  • haha. the tackels a helluva QB lol

  • nice move by the guy at the end to get the touchdown too

  • yeah, #69 is my new hero

  • Very well-designed, using the extra time due to only four men rushing to freeze the coverage men.

  • my team did that same exact trick last season to win the championship i almost didnt catch the ball i was nervous as hell

  • that dude at the end got done nasty

  • someone should have punished number 2 for just standing there

  • Umm, number 2 was the conference player of the year, in '06...

  • neat play

  • techiera3 a flea flicker is when u hand it off 2 the running back and he pitches it back 2 QB and someone goes deep idiot!!!!!!!!

  • i was there that kicked ass!!!

  • Brady and the Pats were watching

  • called a flea flicker

  • thats not a flea flicker you moron

  • you dont know shit about football you stupid fuck.........a flewa flicker is when the qb hands it to the running back and then the runningback pitches it back to the qb and he throws it

  • haha awesome, he is elligable b/c he is on the outside.

  • no he is hes behind the los

  • Nice play, especially because it won the game.

  • getting presure from the middle, flips it to the lineman the lineman looks, throws ,,,,,tuchdown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love how #2 on the defense gives up on the play about halfway through. They deserve to lose.

  • haha i was about to say the same thing

  • lol me too

i also loved how at the end he puts his hands on his hips like wtf just happened

  • wow nice play rutgers did this against louisville but the tackle ran instead

  • he should be the qb. lol

  • i could do that but im t.e.

  • it is common but they made it rare. its rare becuz its the first throw ever by a left tackle, a touchdown at that. its common cuz ppl always throw it to a different person other than the Rb or QB for a pass. nice catch and run thoe.

P.S.- Left tackles can be useful other than for blocking

  • It's common, yet it's rare?

That's a new way of thinking.

But this was a good play.

I never thought about the left tackle passing the ball.

Only play I saw like that was Kentucky vs S.Carolina(I think) where the QB passed it to the WR(who was a former QB) who passed it from the 40 yard line.

The official yardage was 22, but seeing as he ran pretty far back, I'd say it was about 40.

  • O-line pass lol

  • why didnt them dumbasses pressure the throw or even try to tackle him at 27? i know they didnt want him to run it but they knew he was gunna pass it again

  • nice juke at :37

  • :37 is the end of the video

  • ahahah thats funny.

  • thats not a trick play. its called a double pass play. dumfucks. use it all the time.

  • but its a trick play when its thrown by the offentive tackle lol

  • "Use it all the time". WHAT? Where is that done "all the time"? I've been watching the NFL, College Football, etc. almost my whole life and I've seen that only a handful of times.

  • yea it's a trick play cuz 1. it's not a double pass playits a lateral pass play... 2. it was teh left tackle who threw it...

  • yea .. a double pass play is a trick play...

  • fagnut missed the tackle

  • who threw the ball??? a tight end or something??

  • it was the left tackle

  • thats a pretty common but cool trick play.

  • man we do that play all the time in our jv games

  • amazing LOL

  • look at the receiver down field who doesn't catch the ball. he hauls ass and smashes this guy, haha

  • my team did this once but it was picked off

  • wow im surprised that nobody thought that this was illegal...usually there are a lot of dumbasses that don't know what they're talking about posting comments here...great play

  • farva.. i read ur comment watched the vid again and just started cracking up..haha #2 what an effort.. lmao

  • that was pretty nice

  • SWEET! Its great getting to watch these guys everyweek.

  • thats just like a flea flicker.

  • dude, thats nothing like a flea flicker, in a flea flicker the running back takes the hand off and pitches it back to the QB then the QB throws it., in this the QB throws it back to what looks like was the tight end and he thrwos it to the WR

  • the lineman didnt even check if he scored hes really neato

  • oh, nice play. lineman threw a nice spiral

  • haha the guy that threw it looked cool as after aswell. legend

  • this video is amazing... the best part is that a lineman made the pass

  • nice play beter than the ( wrong ball ) trick

  • sweet ;)

  • nice play

  • check out that block behind the reciever at :11 seconds its fuckin sick

  • DAMN he nailed him

  • i LOVE how #2 just sits and watches this play happens...and puts his hands on his hips! Nice Effort Pal lol

  • he got blocked before he could get to the passer whats he supposed to do run 40 yards before the receiver runs 10

  • the play the steelers did was a lateral to randle el the wide reciever not an offensive tackle this is not the same play

  • no, the latteral was to Roethlisberger from Randle el.

  • They did it both ways in the regular season they did one from randle to roethlisberger. In the superbowl randle el threw the ball to ward for a td.

  • ill be there this fall.... they better pull something just as good ;)

  • an OT who can pass. whoa.

  • lol at #2

  • you mean his posture towards the end of the play? Cuz that was hilarious!

  • the steelers did that too! but who did it first?

  • The guy that threw the pass was #69...sweet.

  • did anyone notice the reaction of #2 on the second camara angel?

  • lol snaggy, good call, funny pose, nice play too though

  • that was classic

    "wtf"

  • An OT lined up inside the End is an ineligible receiver, (that is) to catch a fwd pass. He caught a lateral (albeit overhand), any player can take a lateral. Very well designed played, then he may legally throw a fwd pass.

  • dont overlook the broken tackle either.

  • This may sound dumb, but I thought linemen wernt allowed to catch a pass, but a backwards pass is ok?

  • It's not a pass if it's backwards.

  • very good play

  • this is like the same play the steelers ran in the playoffs 2 years ago

  • It is the same play - just that OT threw a much nicer Ball then Randel El did :p

  • Nice... haha.. that offensive tackle has an arm!

  • nice
