Dave Mustaine made a bad choice with Chris Broderick. When it will have come the time when Chris will have to leave the band and another guitarist must replace him, as so many other lead guitarists had to replace the precursor, noone of them will ever be able to play Broderick´s solo work.

Dave said that he found a good (maybe the best) formation for the group and if this formation divide, or one member leave, Megadeth will stop.. I must say that I love Mustaines experiment with music where he give other good artist posibility to prove them self in the world. No matter how Chris is good Mustaine prove himself that he will not change sound of Megadeth and he didn't (remember how many times he changed his lead guitarist and drummer), but I must say I enjoy new influence, still Megadeth sounds the same, I could recognize that sound and riffs not even knowing it's Megadeth.
