Cut the kid some slack - not many girls her age can sing in tune let alone hold a harmony with such strength. And what you're describing as "nasal" is actually a vocal quality known as twang, which is required to belt the notes she has to churn out healthily and with a good ring to the sound. She's going to have quite the fabulous musical theatre voice when she grows up. Good on her.
I'm currently playing Dickon in Timonium Dinner Theatre's production of The Secret Garden. Dickon is such a great part to play and is one of my favorites.
The girl playing Mary isn't completely awful or anything, I mean she sings on key and she has some good facial expressions, but as a whole, I'm really not impressed...when she acts, she puts her emphasis on the wrong words a lot and she sings right through her nose. Even though she definitely isn't the worst I've heard, she isn't quite "Mary Lennox" material.

Having been lucky enough to catch this benefit performance, I can state as fact that "Mary" did indeed suck! A total bore, though surrounded by such an amazing cast, her dullness was overshadowed. Especially by the AMAZING Michael Arden. Beautiful voice, a beautiful voice, and a beautiful young man as well:)

i love jaclyn neidenthal. she is a spectacular performer, nad has an amazing voice. so all you people who are saying obnoxious, rude, and inconsiderate things about this sweet little girl need to shut up and get a life. i bet u cant even compare to her. u probably have no idea what it takes to get up on that stage and sing your heart out like she does. i love jaclyn. she is absolutely fantastic.

omg youstupid people Jaclyn is the most amazing child actress that ever walked on the Broadway stage and you should go and see how well you would do on a stage with only 2 weeks of rehearsal and see how you do she had to learn a whole show lines songs and every things all in 2 weeks you dumb people!
the dickon is awesome, his first verses wwere awesome, but im sorry the girl ruined it slightely, she needed to listen to the mood the song is creating. also i think she needs to work on her accent a little bit. apart from that, it was awesome. great dickon!

he's an actor...a lot of people know him through an Off Broadway musical he did called BARE (look it up...he's amazing!)
