Can someone please explain to me what all this protest is about?

If you read the title it is explained there. But basically it was probably one of the largest protests in history where the people of Iran were (and still are) protesting against the islamic regime. It was during the election period where it was believed the President Ahmedinijad rigged the election and as a consequence won it...Many Iranians believe that the election should have been won by the opposition leader who was fighting against the brutal regime.
