@karlsefni01 Hey Karl, thanx man I appreciate the kind words. It turned out ok for a first attempt. I have one blade left to ppay with and was thinking of a wood handle for sure. That's be cool. I was looking at mesquite, but it is really hard wood to work with with the simple hand tool I am using. Was thinking about birch or even a decent pine handle, maybe even making rings?
@KURGAN44 awesome Doug! Incidentally, I ran into some birds eye and curly maple in a tree I cut in the back yard. I need to find a good recipe for stabilizing wood :)
this is a great mini series Doug. learned quite a bit and enjoyed it too! I need to get some wood sent to you for full tang knives
