  • DE LUJO YO JUEGO GTA IV PERO AVECES SE ME VE MAS LENTO QUE RIÓ DE SEMENTÓ

  • @weissbr0t why do i get microstutters when i play gta 4 (regular version) on my asus g73? is my computer broke?

  • @Adamd895 You should patch it to the lower versions like 1.0.4.0, because the newer patches have really bad performance. I am currently using patch 1.0.4.0 and I get around 35 to 50 FPS on max settings. The average FPS, according to the benchmark is 45.92. Also, don't use turbo boost.

  • Hi, is this i5 or i7?

  • @TBUClan i7 all the way

  • The frame rate looks great!

    Is it?

  • You should have FRAPS running next time ;) Well...not like recording....but just so we can see the true fps.

    Thanks for the vid

  • Nice one :P Exciting as ever

  • LMAO 7:54 btw great demonstration

  • OH man that's great! Thanks for creating this video. I've been looking for a test like this for a couple months. I'm looking to buy a new laptop, but I wanted something that is at least comparable to the PS3 or 360 in terms of gaming power. If it's something that can slightly surpass these consoles and come with a great price(for a gaming laptop), that will seal the deal for me. Now I need someone to do a test with Street fighter 4 .

    Thanks

This G73 Model also has a full HD Display. Ok,this model costs arround 1700$. in Germany i've paid 1699€ for this; what a great Deal by the way! XD (ironic) In comparision with this price and performance and costs of an PS3.. not a geat deal!

So if you more a consoleró and not so much a PC gamer, i recommend to use consoles!

  • This Gaming Machine here is definitive faster than a 360 or PS3. I own a PS3 and most of that games handled, are in 720p resolution and running at least with 30fps.. ok some games (mostly arcade genre) are running with more FPS and in FullHD resolution BTW: i love God of War 3!!! XDD ...[continued]

  • @weissbr0t $1700?!? I thought it was $1500!

  • @salsa101 You are completely underestimating the power of the high end gaming laptops. The GPU in the Xbox360 is nowhere near as powerful as the ATI 5870 and the settings of GTA IV in the Xbox are all low settings and lower resolution. Street Fighter 4 will run on the ATI 5870 maxed out at over 100 fps by the way. This laptop can play games at settings that the Xbox360 and PS3 will never do. The main difference is that the Console Devs know exactly what hardware to optimise for.

  • @Nenyana I hope I am underestimating its power. I had been out of the loop of PC shopping for many years, until recently when I bought an asus desktop. I did a little research, but I couldn't gauge it against any current specs I was familiar with, but I did know that consoles have been out for about 5 years. I also new that my 360 only has 512 MB of Ram. My thinking was, if average desktops have 4 GB of ram, then they must be 8 times faster than these consoles.

  • @Nenyana When I picked up the desktop, I also picked up Arkham asylum. I was expecting 10 times performance, but when I started the game, It ran super slow. Even at the lowest possible settings, it still didn't run as fast as my 360. Now that I'm looking for something better, this time I can shop smarter. Youtube is so perfect for this, because I can actually see performance tests on a variety of games and not just one that I can afford at that time.

  • @salsa101 Amount of RAM doesn't effect gaming performance that drastically and in most cases, neither does the CPU Clock. It is all about the GPU speed, type of nm manufacturing process / size and type of memory. For example a GPU with DDR3 memory and a 256 Bit Bus could be out performed by a GPU that has a smaller 128 Bit Bus paired with GDDR5 type VRAM.
